“Convenient place to stay...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2009

I'm very pleased to share my experience with Hotel Garbi Spa at Playa D'en Bossa. It's practically suituated amidst souvenir shops, restaurants, & supermarkets. Relatively quiet as long as you keep your balcony door closed. Well isolated. The hotel offers breakfast & half board. We took half board which is cost a minimal amount of 7€person/day. They offer a wide variety of food, quite acceptible with fishes & meat. The desserts are almost always too good to pass.

Cleanliness,,, it's a newly refurbished hotel & it is soo clean & very effecient cleaning services.

The service was really bad, and some of the staff members were quite rude.

No help to get from staff, for example asked them to make a phone call for us and ask for opening times at a historical attraction we wanted to visit. Receptionist told us: Phone does not work (big lie), call from a pay phone yourselves.

The food is quite bad, happy we did not get food poison. Almost choked to death on a crappy piece of meat thou, but got help from someone ho did a heimlich manoover on me.

The walls are so thin you hear all the neighbors talk about.

The outside and pool are was dirty, but the cleening ladys did their best. All best wishes to them, they really worked hard.

They advertise they have a sauna, but this is not true.

People smoking marijuana outside of hotel sometimes.

No storageroom with a lock for baggage, just a an open room for every stranger to walk in to if they want to grab your bag.

Bad bad bad... they clame to be a 2 star hotel - I would say 1 star or none.

Look for another hotel, seriously, if you want SOME degree of service and comfort.

Holiday spoilt because of hotel - full of teenagers, too much noise day and night, paper thin walls and loud music from the rooms. Food was terrible with no variety which seemed to cater purely for Spanish. Poor entertainment and unpleasant staff - only decent thing about the hotel would be the location.

We stayed via the OK hotel booking site that directs you to various hotels close to each other.

This is a large hotel, rooms where cleaned and bedding changed each day. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view.

We stayed on a B & B rate, the breakfast was held in a large restaurant with two duplicate serveries serving a selection of continental and full English style breakfast, which you could revisit as much as you liked.

The hotel was situated for us just far enough away from the noise of the main playe de boysa area 2 min walk to its lively young beach areas and only a 6 euro taxi ride to the beautiful Old town with its nice restaurant and bars.

As a couple that wanted to enjoy the Ibiza music scene and also the romantic side of a holiday this hotel was perfect.

Just returned from a very enjoyable week at the Club Garbi hotel. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but did end up having dinner in the hotel restaurant for for 3 evenings as there was a lack of nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The best place to go for dinner is Ibiza old town which is a 12 euro taxi ride away.

Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice. Evening meals was buffet style with lots of choice for 18 euros. The hotel had an interesting mix of entertainment in the evenings from dancing to a parot show.

The hotel is great, very modern and contemporary in design. The rooms are bright and airy and the whole hotel is very clean.

The hotel has a large pool area with plenty of sun beds. The beds were too close together for my taste but I do prefer the beach. The hotel is set on the beach with a fab cafe bar overlooking the sea.

We thought the sunbeds on the beach were expensive - for two beds and a sun umbrella was 18 euros Generally we found Ibiza expensive this year due to the weak pound/strong Euro.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location for the beach. The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. The down side is when you venture outside of the hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants but not very nice. I think they cater for the younger clubbing crowd - did this 25 years ago but not my scene at 44. Went to Santa Eulalia in Ibiza last year which was much nicer.

This hotel is ideal for a 7 or 5 day break if you are looking for a nice hotel on a nice beach but take plenty of money with you as food and drink is expensive.

There was also a disco and spa, niether of which we tried.

Spent three nights there in May 2009 on a trip with friends. I had my own room and three beds(!), and it was only 25 euros per night. Not much was included, but I was simply looking for a room. It was very clean, with a balcony, and was close to the beach. The pool was a nice bonus too.

Close to the town, it is walkable, and easy to reach by bus or car.

The main downside was the noise. Even if it was not hight season, other loud guests in the halls were a problem in the early mornings, and even the housekeeping staff were not the quietest.

Worth it at the price I paid, and probably at a little more too.

We stayed here on a half board basis, which was very reasonably priced, had a beautiful ocean view room, enjoyed lovely buffet meals, relaxed around a cold but well landscaped pool, and could still walk to Ibiza Town in 30 mins. We would definitely go to Club Garvi again.
