We decided to try The Welcome for our first evening in resort ( 3rd Oct) because of the good reports we had read on Trip Advisor and also because it was quite near to our accommodation. Are we glad we did !! It was brilliant. I had pork chops and my wife had fish with potatoes/chips and veg. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived to leaving. Lovely warm welcome (no pun intended ! ) from the Welsh lady host and properly cooked food. The only very slight criticism was that because we sat outside on a patio, the plates were cool on arrival at the table which meant the food started to go a little cold before finishing. However, this did not detract from what was a superb experience. We enjoyed it so much we booked for the traditional Sunday roast that Sunday (6th Oct) , which was served until 6.30pm. I'm not exaggerating to say it is probably the best Sunday roast we've ever had abroad. Roast beef Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. Mmmmm Yummy! Try this place, you will not be disappointed.
