Aspetti positivi:

I really can't believe all the negative reviews this hotel is receiving. I have really travelled the world and seem a lot of different hotell standards.
I have come to realise that it's not about the stars it's about the general feeling that passes to you by employees and fascilities.
I'm 34 and was travelling with my brother who's 26, which means that this hotel would fit us awfully. Instead we found it ever so friendly and peacefull.
The hotell is packed with seniors and some famillies with infants. We socialized with mostly everybody and found each company to be rewarding in it's own way.

The pool area it pleasant with a large pool being heated to a nice temperature (wouldn't bother jumping in to the other ones though) and no problem with space in the pool or with sun chairs. The hotel has a no towel booking policy with sun chairs which is nice.
The service is impecable, as soon as we laid down or cutlery it was instantly picked away by a friendly waitor. We treated all the staff with much respect, as I always do, and was greatly rewarded. In the evening we gave the bar men some small tips and they memorized our favourite drinks and brought refills before we needed them. On our last night they even brought us double refills just before 11pm which I found astonishing, the all-inclusive stops att 11pm so after that you are on your own.

I also found it very helpfull that when our departure transfer left att 12.15 we could pick up pizzas + NesTeas in the bar to eat on the bus so we didn't have to buy the overpriced crap always found on airports.

The animation team was very friendly and treated us as friends, always wanting us to join every activity. Every activity wasn't fantastic but they did what they could. The volleyball net needs repairing though... The tennis courts we totally ok and a special bonus that you could borrow rackets and balls without charge (if you had all inclusive). There was also no remarks if you ordered six drinks in the bar regardless if you wanted them for your table or for yourself.
The beer was very good (San Miguel), found the bottled one better for some reason, and the wine was totally ok, never tried the white doe, I'm a strictly red or bubbly guy.

Pros:
Good food, a little anoying fried fish smell.. but good.
Friendly staff!!! Especially in the bar. They have great humour
Clean!! Both rooms and hotel area
Peacefull and quiet

Cons:
It's not on the beach, but you know that when your booking so... it's just 400 meters to the sea and I don't think you want to swim there anyway :o)

I will be back!!!! I had one of my best hollidays ever!

The best thing about this hotel is the choice and quality of the food. We were on half board basis, so could have either lunch or evening meal. There was pleanty of choice, swordfish, pork, beef and chicken plus vegetarian options.
As always the secret is to plate up a proper meal rather than load it with a bit of everything. The deserts are to die for, so take elasticated trousers!
Rooms are clean and basic, ask not to stay in block four, we moved because the rooms are on a busy road and early morning traffic noise is bad. The reception staff were very helpful and moved us to one of the other blocks which was quiet.
There is not a nuclear plant next door, industrial plant a mile or so away , but no noise, or smell.
A lovely little beach just in front of the hotel Oasis across the road.
There is a useful free bus into the town every 30 mins, and if you want a taxi it is ony 3 euro.
Teguise is not lively, but best night out is at the Lively Ladies show bar, free entry and different show each night, hilarious and suitable for all the family.
We went for a week in Jan/Feb weather was mostly good, two cloudy days, but can be breezy, and need a coat for evenings.
One of our party was ill with dodgy tum, this started two days before holiday but ended up calling out doctor from the Clinic next to hotel. I think they milked it a bit by giving an injection on three consecutive days plus tablets and it cost about £260. They were very pushy about having cash rather than credit card, think it's a bit af a scam because we met a girl who had an ear infection and ended up with three injections too and similar charges.
We paid £400 each for half board, including flight. I wouldn't bother with all inclusive it finishes at 11pm

All i can say about this hotel is that it is a discrace. I hated the place so much i had to come home ealry i live in nothern ireland and had to fly to london and wait there 9 hours befour gettin to blefast.

The hotel is way to far out in the middle of no were and about half a mile away is a nuclear power station, not the place for a hotel.

The food is really awful you end up eating foos together that you wouldnt eat together just to fill urself.

The staff are not nice in the hotel only a few people are the rest make you feel by just lookin at you that you shouldnt be in their country. The hotel is all german and they are not nice. When trying to get a flight home to staff were really not helpful i had to go to the hotel acrose the road to get help. The rep is never at the htoel to help you at the times she says she will.

There is nothing to do at this place you will find urself board outa your mind as you have to get a bus to the beach even and when gettin the bus it does not say were it will take you so you end up gettin on the wrong one. And the buses do not run alot so you find urself sittin around waitin ages.

Iwas fairly disapointed with the holiday although being my first time abroad i thought it could of been better the entertainment was okay but i feel there could of been more for adults after the childrens entertainment also the location was awkward to get to and from costa teguise as the buses were'nt frequent enough as for the menu if you dont like pork this is'nt the holiday for you as it is served every day if u do decide to go there is a gorgeous lagoon a stones throw away from the hotel behind the occidental oasis. kel@elaine manchester
