Owner description: Experience at first hand how Daivoon lives and laughs!Daivoon is a family run dive center in Costa Teguise (Lanzarote). Goetz & Michi offer you individual service, safe diving and competent dive training. Furthermore both of them wholeheartedly and humorously care about their clients and ensure variety and adventure underwater, but also above the surface (BBQs, excursions,…).

“Very friendly and knowledgeable people at this dive center, Daivoon, Costa Teguise”

What can I say.
To be short. No complains at all. Just what we were looking for.

Glynn took us diving the first 8 times and it was great. He is very kind and has a lot of patience. Always smiling.
Goetz took us diving the rest of the dives. They both know so much about all the dive sites.
The dive centre is perfect. Not very big, but they have everything. Gear looks good. We only used the 7 mm wetsuits because we brought our own gear on this holiday. They don't have a problem with that and if you want you can store your gear with them during your stay. Please ask them first of course!
Every Friday they have a drink at the same bar so if you want to meet fellow divers, join them for a drink.
And it is a good opportunity to speak with Goetz about his fantastic adventures. Normally he does not have time for that. It's hard work for them to organize all the dives during the day.

Many dive centres in Lanzarote have a fixed dive schedule, which is fine if you want to go for some very basic, busy dives. The dives them selves are fine by the way. We've been diving at these dive sites too. What we saw were big groups diving together. If you don't want that, go to Daivoon. It is a small dive centre. No big groups. Personal attention. And... let them know where you favourite dive spot is and you might be lucky if they take you there. If not, it's probably the wind that makes a dive not possible on that day.

During the dives, the guides point out all kind of creatures that you never would have found without them, so it is absolutely worth to dive with these guys. They have done sooo many dives in Lazarote, they recognize every rock, so all the attention goes to you, for having a great and safe dive.

They seem to offer all kinds of scuba dive courses and I think you will be in good hands to do you first dives with them.
We have been diving in many parts of the world. Lanzarote is not spectacular, but nonetheless worth a visit. Only 4 hour flight from Amsterdam, London, Germany. And you are in a complete different world. Above and under water.
We specially liked the big groups of sardines flying all around you. And the shrimps in the cave, the lava landscape, the electric rays and the tiny eggs of the snails. We made great photo's of the arrow crab, because there were so many of them.
We've seen more then we expected.

So Glynn, Goetz, thank you again for your kindness and good guidance!! If we have the opportunity, we'll definitely come back.

“Best Experience Ever!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

Diving with Daivoon was fantastic, we did the Discover Scuba Diving dive. This included the use of complete equipment, intro to the basic concepts followed by a 45 minute dive within the bay of Puerto Del Carmen. Goetz and Tommy were our instructors and provided the transport from Costa Teguise to the dive site, the instructors were fantastic helping us to understand what was required of us to stay safe and also giving us a fantastic experience. there was great visibility and seen an entire new world while under.

All the staff speak fantastic English and were extremely helpful they have truly insured that diving has become my new passion and we are already trying to organise our next trip to Costa Teguise to do more dives. Highly recommended.

“Diving Adventures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

3 "older" learners and on younger one booked a few days at the centre in March. The instructors (and indeed the whole team) were very patient and flexible - we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, challenging yet highly rewarding.

“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

I spent a week in Lanzarote where I went from never being in the water to qualifying as an SSI Open Water diver with a Deep Diving speciality under my belt as well.

Daivoon was recommended to me by my girlfriend's father who lives in Lanzarote, and it couldn't have been better. Right from the beginning it was clear that this was a fun family business where enjoying your dives safely was a top priority. Michi cracked the whip, Glynn ran my dives, Goetz tried to give me four kittens and I had a great time.

Glynn was a very patient calm instructor who left me feeling safe throughout - even when wreck diving at 34m on the last day. He drove us all around Lanzarote making sure we tried different sites each day depending on the conditions and the training needs.

Group sizes were 2 for open water diving and four once qualified - I was out of the tourist season so very lucky.

I will be back as soon as I can get the holiday time.
