What can I say.
To be short. No complains at all. Just what we were looking for.
Glynn took us diving the first 8 times and it was great. He is very kind and has a lot of patience. Always smiling.
Goetz took us diving the rest of the dives. They both know so much about all the dive sites.
The dive centre is perfect. Not very big, but they have everything. Gear looks good. We only used the 7 mm wetsuits because we brought our own gear on this holiday. They don't have a problem with that and if you want you can store your gear with them during your stay. Please ask them first of course!
Every Friday they have a drink at the same bar so if you want to meet fellow divers, join them for a drink.
And it is a good opportunity to speak with Goetz about his fantastic adventures. Normally he does not have time for that. It's hard work for them to organize all the dives during the day.
Many dive centres in Lanzarote have a fixed dive schedule, which is fine if you want to go for some very basic, busy dives. The dives them selves are fine by the way. We've been diving at these dive sites too. What we saw were big groups diving together. If you don't want that, go to Daivoon. It is a small dive centre. No big groups. Personal attention. And... let them know where you favourite dive spot is and you might be lucky if they take you there. If not, it's probably the wind that makes a dive not possible on that day.
During the dives, the guides point out all kind of creatures that you never would have found without them, so it is absolutely worth to dive with these guys. They have done sooo many dives in Lazarote, they recognize every rock, so all the attention goes to you, for having a great and safe dive.
They seem to offer all kinds of scuba dive courses and I think you will be in good hands to do you first dives with them.
We have been diving in many parts of the world. Lanzarote is not spectacular, but nonetheless worth a visit. Only 4 hour flight from Amsterdam, London, Germany. And you are in a complete different world. Above and under water.
We specially liked the big groups of sardines flying all around you. And the shrimps in the cave, the lava landscape, the electric rays and the tiny eggs of the snails. We made great photo's of the arrow crab, because there were so many of them.
We've seen more then we expected.
So Glynn, Goetz, thank you again for your kindness and good guidance!! If we have the opportunity, we'll definitely come back.
