For a 3* hotel (and in comparison to some Greek establishments) this hotel is fantastic. It is not a family run hotel, but is small and all members of staff are friendly and accommodating. The standards are high from the housekeeping team; the rooms and public areas could not be faulted for cleanliness. We had a family room which had two separate sleeping areas and a very large balcony with drying rack (which comes in very handy). Our room had a small fridge, hairdryer and TV and the bathroom was a good size. We booked direct with the hotel and the price included air conditioning and safe, the air conditioning is a must in August! I believe agent bookings do not include this in the price so an additional charge is made by the hotel on request of these extras. The hotel offers B&B accommodation and the breakfast is simple but adequate; Toast (ham, cheese and Jam), cereals (milk is not fresh) and delicious Greek yoghurt with tinned fruit or honey and a choice of tea, coffee or juices. However, as breakfast is served 7.30-9.30 we only managed to make it for half of the time we were there!! There are plenty of places on the beachfront that serve breakfast until lunchtime so there was no problem there. The hotel has a very good snack service during the day and everything we ate from here was delicious. The poolside is clean and we never had a problem getting beds but as no parasols are available the beds in the shade were soon taken up. We had a lovely time at the Classic, not sure that we’d go back as we prefer Tigaki to Kardamena but would definitely recommend this as a very good budget hotel.
