Cannot fault this hotel at all really. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a family room= extra space and huge balcony(room 522 gets sun all day) room was cleaned every day, 2 mins from beach, 5 from harbour restaurants. Beds were a bit hard & bathroom small but for what you pay you cannot grumble and would recommend hotel to anyone

For a 3* hotel (and in comparison to some Greek establishments) this hotel is fantastic. It is not a family run hotel, but is small and all members of staff are friendly and accommodating. The standards are high from the housekeeping team; the rooms and public areas could not be faulted for cleanliness. We had a family room which had two separate sleeping areas and a very large balcony with drying rack (which comes in very handy). Our room had a small fridge, hairdryer and TV and the bathroom was a good size. We booked direct with the hotel and the price included air conditioning and safe, the air conditioning is a must in August! I believe agent bookings do not include this in the price so an additional charge is made by the hotel on request of these extras. The hotel offers B&B accommodation and the breakfast is simple but adequate; Toast (ham, cheese and Jam), cereals (milk is not fresh) and delicious Greek yoghurt with tinned fruit or honey and a choice of tea, coffee or juices. However, as breakfast is served 7.30-9.30 we only managed to make it for half of the time we were there!! There are plenty of places on the beachfront that serve breakfast until lunchtime so there was no problem there. The hotel has a very good snack service during the day and everything we ate from here was delicious. The poolside is clean and we never had a problem getting beds but as no parasols are available the beds in the shade were soon taken up. We had a lovely time at the Classic, not sure that we’d go back as we prefer Tigaki to Kardamena but would definitely recommend this as a very good budget hotel.

Room tip: High rooms in the main block are good for views.

Me and my partner stayed at the Cleopatra Classic Hotel in Kos in Mid Aug 2014...Well what can i say...apart from being greeted with a smile from the lovely staff working there..Helped out with places to explore and eat...And entertained by the friendly bar staff...We Had a wonderful stay.
The Bedrooms are Basic but VERY ClEAN and spacious...Can be a little noisey at night due to the walls being thin...But otha than that it was a perfect stay. This Hotel is a 5 min walk from the beach...and if you dont want the beach then u have the wonderful Pool to jump into..
Perfect Location...Lots of resturants to choose from...And away from the busy and noisey nightlife of Bar street!
I would deffo recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay...I will deff be comming back again!! :)

Just returned from 4th year of staying at the classic and wouldn't go elsewhere. Aside from the hotel being spotlessly clean and nicely appointed (this time was in 121 so lovely pool view and large room), it is small and friendly and you feel you staying with family. Marianna on reception is great and always happy to help with anything and Mel at bar cheerful and friendly. Would highly recommend the hotel for the personal touch alone. I for one will be returning to this hotel and the beautiful island of Kos.

Arrived at the Cleopatra Classic around 10.30pm and Giorgos the night receptionist met us with a friendly smile and quick check in and provided a much needed drink at the bar!
The following morning we were greeted by Yet another very friendly and efficient member of staff Marianna who couldn't do enough to help!
I'm not generally a pool person but the pool at the hotel was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and the bar manager Mel made our days round the pool even better with his friendly manner and great service. The housekeeping staff were lovely and very efficient and the food which was available between 10 and 5.30 was excellent.
And Jenny who runs the bar in the evenings is fabulous
The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the beach where the sunbeds are free of charge
Kardamena has lots of lovely restaurants.
The Alexander which we ate at twice fabulous food and staff and sea views
El Greco lovely food staff and right on the beach
The 1960s bar in the square overlooking the harbour was lovely for a morning latte whilst watching the world go by also nice for a drink in the evening
We were made welcome where ever we went and will definitely go back to kardamena and the
Cleopatra classic!

Room tip: There are no ground floor rooms so I think which ever floor you choose would be fine
