“Not bad for a 400 bed all inclusive hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is huge so if you are looking for a quiet, intimate property then its not for you. The food, served on a buffet basis, was of a very good quality and only on one evening was it congested. If you pick your times carefully it is manageable - you obviously get the usual travellers with their plates piled high who are pushing and shoving for the last chip but mainly people were respectful and it worked well - there certainly was something for everyone. We ate out on a few nights so may have felt differently if we had eaten there the whole week.

The staff were good and very patient with the rudeness of some nationalities.

Our accommodation was one of the newly refurbished rooms (586) at the top of the hill near to the Summer Palace resort - the hill is a bit of a climb - you get case transfers but there is very little assistance for those that cannot walk that was visible. The room itself had a great view and was spotlessly clean. It was also quite large.

There were three pools - the pool with the water slide (opposite our room) which we steered clear of, the main pool with the animation team and the 'relax' pool with a good bar. My only complaint was that the 'relax' pool allowed children - if it was made adult only it would have been perfect. Even on busy days there were enough sun loungers.

Room Tip: 586 or any of the block on top of the hill if you don't mind the walk!

It's been our 8th time at norida beach and we still absolutely lovely there. We have never been to an all inclusive quite like it. The staff are all so smiley and friendly and take time to speak with you! The food is so tasty and the hotel is very clean.

We arrived at the hotel very late at night, the reception staff were lovely, helped us get signed in and gave us a snack, informing us there was water etc in our fridge in our rooms. The hotel is giant, spread over a massive area with a few pools, a private beach, two restaurants, a separate buffet restaurant, a small nightclub, a games bar, kids club, theatre area and tennis courts. If you want to stay at the hotel for the full holiday there is definitely plenty to do to keep you busy. There is easy access to hire bikes/cars etc too if you want to get out and explore. The buffet food was great, with a massive variety and different dishes every night, my only complaint is that being a vegetarian, there were no labels saying what was and what was not veggie (and it wasnt always easy to tell). The adult bar is great at night, the only problem is the all inclusive does finish at midnight and the hotel is very quiet after this. It's about ten euros each way in a taxi if you want to keep partying in Kardamena, or the disco bar two minutes from the hotel is open until late.

We stayed in this hotel in August this year for two weeks and had a great time!!!!

Any bad reviews you have read about this hotel have been written by people that obviously moan about anything and everything. We have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and this by far has been the best.

As long as u are polite to the staff they can not do enough for you. The food in the buffet restaurant is fab, and yes you have to queue but for literally minutes.

The Chinese restaurant is lovely one of the nicest iv had equally the Greek taverna, yes u have to book but as long as your up for nine and tbh you could get up book your table and go straight back to bed if that is too early, it's well worth it as the food is amazing.

In the day time there are snacks at all the bars which are nice. The beach bar serve the coolest drinks and it's a very very short
Walk from the children's pool.

We visited the disco bar a few nights, you do have to pay for your drinks but they can not do enough for u. They have a wii and x box in there for the kids for free and it's nice to drink English beers. yes u have paid all inclusive but if you take spending money it's worth spending a few of your euros in this bar. it is minutes away from the hotel and they really make a big fuss of you especially the children.

We visited kardemina twice it is a lovely place, went to a bar called The Pub had all football on, really nice lady behind bar.

Went to turkey, worth booking in kardemina as a lot cheaper than reps at hotel, interesting experience can totally tell your in a different country very very
hot in season.

Out seven year old boy had the time of his life great holiday !!!

Myself and husband and two children aged 10 & 5 visited this hotel in august this year . As a previous Mitsis hotel guest (see other review Mitsis Rodos Maris) we were keen to visit another Mitsis property. Positive points we stayed in a duplex family bungalow this exceeded our expectations for space position facilities .However as we were aware before arrival the main hotel pools both are salt water this is not pleasant and our five year old normally like a fish was reluctant to swim in them. The slide pools are freshwater but they are approx 10 min walk from hotel shared by all of the other hotels on the complex this is not I hasten to add made obvious in the brochures. Negative points the main hotel and buffet restaurant lack anything in the way of air conditioning making it extremely uncomfortable to eat a meal or take a drink. The buffet restaurant was so busy made eating on it not a relaxing experience the food also came very repetitive after a fortnight. The a l'carte restaurants were far more pleasant however if unlike us you find it difficult to get up by 7-7.30am you may not have had chance to experience we however are early risers and were able to experience the Chinese on two occasions and the greek on one the Chinese was fabulous service and food excellent the greek was average but made pleasant relaxing change to eat in both away from hustle and bustle of buffet restaurant. Entertainment was poor to say the least and the venue was shared with three of the other Mitsis hotels on site also involving a ten min walk. The hotel itself only has on site entertainment about two nights a week so the evenings were low key and lacked atmosphere. The couple of shows we watched laid on by animation team were just badly mimed poorly choreographed and were not at all entertaining !

Room Tip: Family bungalows in the 900's or main hotel sea facing avoid cardiac hill rooms

This is the second year we have stayed here and we love it. The staff are so friendly, they work so hard. The animation team do a fantastic job. Dimitris and Stamatis at the Beach bar and entertaining and work hard. Vivi in the restaurant does a great job at greeting people, the rest of the staff also work so hard and do a great job.

The food is great and so much choice, only criticism is that I would like to see more Greek food on the menu but the food is lovely.

The Miniclub is brilliant

Hoping we can save some pennies and go back 2014! Did not want to leave. I have emailed the Manager with an enquiry and he got back quickly and very helpful

The perfect holiday. Have just returned home after spending 7 nights at the Norida Beach. The room was great, lovely view out to sea and we had two bedrooms which was perfect for our daughter. The room was up a steepish hill but we didn't mind this as the exercise worked off the excellent food. The main restaurant is big and busy and I would always recommend waiting for a table outside (no more then 5 mins wait). We stayed on the beach for most of the time, yes its shingle but the water was clear and warm. We had no problems with sunbeds, the pools were busier but there were still beds available up to 10.00am The only word I can say about the staff is FANTASTIC! (A special big thanks to Marta in Kids Club). Just commenting on previous reviews, if you want full 5* luxury and like to be waited on hand and foot then don't go to Greece. But want to be treated to a lovely relaxing holiday with good food, clean rooms, great facilities for all the family then this is for you.
Thank you to all at Norida Beach.

Room Tip: Go for a 2 bedroomed family room with seaview, good size. Rooms in main hotel are smaller.
