“Amazing hotel and wonderful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

This is the best hotel in Greece, not only Zante. Everything has already been written, there are no negatives. Every member of the staff have a smile on their faces, they are the best. The food is wonderful, always something to suit everyone's tastes. The best place to stay for a wonderful Greek holiday, arrive as a visitor and leave as a lifelong friend.

We have just returned from there and loved the hotel and holiday as a whole. Everybody is very friendly and the staff remember your name instantly. Tomas and his entertainment team work really hard and make you laugh. The only issue we had was that the shower flooded the bathroom floor, Room 207. Food was brilliant, loads of choice of all sorts of food. I especially enjoyed trying all the Greek food, loved the Chinese food night and also the mixed grill night. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Great location too.

The Bitzaro Grande is a lovely modern hotel which is very clean and set in well maintained gardens. Two pools are well kept and lovely way to cool off during the day. There were plenty of sunbeds to go round just a shame that some people still reserved beds and didn't use them until nearly lunchtime. The beach was further away than I thought, which was a shame, but not the hotel's fault. The food was varied and extremely tasty. The staff were always bringing in fresh trays of food and whilst you occasionally had to queue for the food overall it wasn't a problem. You helped yourself to drinks at meal times which I thought was good as you could get what you wanted when you wanted. The rooms were very clean and of a higher standard than other Greek hotels which we have stayed in. It was good having a kettle and cups in the room, for that early morning drink, however it was very disappointing to have to supply your own coffee and tea, after the first complimentry sachets. I've never come across this before and thought it was 'penny pinching' especially as it was All inclusive. The shower gel and shampoo weren't replaced either which guests should be made aware of. The drinks were quite basic but the bar attendants were very efficient and you never had to queue.

We enjoyed our holiday but won't be returning as there were too many children and we now appreciate the peaceful surrounds of adults only hotels but that is our decision and shouldn't put others off. The staff were extremely friendly and very soon learnt who you were and which rooms you were in, they must stay up half the night learning the names.

Just got back from a 2 week holiday here. Hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. The rooms were spacious and very clean.fridge in room too.stayed in room 328 overlooking the pool, but was quiet.plenty of sunbeds ,if you weren't lucky enough to get 1 at the pool side there were plenty more on the grass.plenty of choice in dining room breakfast, lunchtime and evening.or if you preferred the snack bar was open and you can order burgers, rolls or toasties .nickey at the poolside bad was very efficient.entertainment day and night if you wanted it.plenty of games to join in with but staff were not pushy if you wanted to just relax. The hotel is situated near the main strip with plenty of bars and restaurants.had a taxi to Zante town which cost 10 euros, lots of shops there.there is nothing to complain about in this hotel.staff were really friendly and animation team worked really hard. met some really nice people .would definitely recommend this hotel .hope to go back in near future.

Just returned home after another wonderful holiday thanks to the delightful Bitzaro Grande Hotel.
After last year, I didn't think it were possible to top the time my Wife and I had. But, I must say that this was the case. This place really is as good as the vast majority of the reviews written on Trip Advisor. From the moment you walk through the door, you instantly feel right at home.

The Bitzaro prides itself on a happy, friendly environment and boy do they achieve it. The mix of nationalities is mainly British and Dutch, with French, Belgian and all get on great. Tom and the gang entertain you day and night, making sure you have the best time. The pool games are legendary, the Lilo race was my favourite... A relay race across the pool picking up team mates, a real good laugh. Also, darts and Pool table games. One minute games, all great fun! All the night time shows are also very good... Starts with Kids disco. Followed by 2 games of Bingo, where you could win up to 300 Euros per game, hilariously called by the talented Tom Ganzer, a man I can call a future life long friend. Then Showtime! A mix of Karaoke, then you'll have Quiz night, then you'll have a improvised and made up comedy sketches, all very funny! Greek nights, dancing.

The location of the hotel is central to anything you could want. From the Supermarket not 5 minute walk to all Restaurants, also a 5 minute walk. If nightclubs are your thing, Laganas is only 5 Euros in a cab. Airport is 12 Euros in a cab. There are some fantastic Restaurants on the Kalamaki strip. Essence was out of this world as was the Olive Tree. The Cave Bar up the hill was a lovely romantic place with seating areas cut out of the rock and a round Turret at the top with seating and battlements all around, a great setting and a nice touch is that there is a Mini Moke Jeep that takes you up the hill to it free of charge.

Zante is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Although we went All-Inclusive, we hired car and toured the Island... Top view of the Shipwreck was a sight that must be seen to be believed. Also, Puerto Roxy was lovely with its rock diving platform and a Taverna with the best tatsziki in Greece...lol.... ST. Nicholas Port, also very nice... 1 hour boat trips for 10 Euros to the blue caves and shipwreck.

My Wife and I can not wait to be back with our Bitzaro family once again.

We have just returned from our fantastic holiday in the Bitzaro Grande. It was so relaxing but also there was loads to do. The food was great and loads of selection. The staff were amazing and so helpful and down to earth. Entertainment and pool games were good. Definitely returning.
