After a long day of shopping in Tonala, I was tempted to have dinner at our hotel ;however my spouse insisted we have a" special dinner "on the last night of our road trip. We have been to Tlaquepaque many times over the years and have ahd trouble finding a quality restaurant that is open later than 7 or 8 PM. Casa Luna is a lovely place, inner courtyard filled with lanterns and regional artwork. The service was excellent as was the food.Good wine list .
My husband enjoyed a fish entree and I had a very tasty lasagna made with panela cheese served with a wonderful spinach salad.Soft lighting and music added to the charming atmosphere. Casa Luna is open until 11 PM most days, 12 on weekends. Prices were modest but we certainly felt we had a very" special "dinner .
