The nearby university was hosting a national workshop so they housed me and 20 or so other fellows and panelists in this hotel. It was 2-3 a room. The rooms were okay, the standard twin bed , small flatscreen TV with a few cable channels, 2 tables (one with a half-body mirror and one for eating), one shared cabinet and a decent, clean bathroom. We saw one cockroach on the third night, though.
The security isn't the best. There was only one guard manning the entrance, only one person on the front desk and a few housemaids and helpers. Only one key per room is given, and the chambermaids do not have their own masterkey so if you go back because you forgot something, the chambermaids might already have it because they clean after you leave and you have to find them, explain your situation because they wont believe you the first time (my friend actually did a lot of explaining) and that's the only time they'll hand in your key.
One room actually had two phones STOLEN. One of the roommates was out so the other roommate left the door unlocked and slept so that he could return without too much hassle. I guess he was too lax about the whole thing. When the police came and investigated, they saw on the CCTV camera a man just getting off the elevator and going straight to the room, as if he knew it was already unlocked. He didn't check the other rooms too.
Overall, my personal stay was good. It's a small hotel, and they even sell little snacks and beverages in the little kitchenette and they have a partner restaurant beside them so food delivery/preparation is possible. I won't bother staying here again, though, the thievery had me very, very dissapointed.
