“Best choice but that is not saying much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

I had little hot water during a recent three night stay. They switched my room once because internet was not strong enough. I had to sit in hallway to get good signal. OK breakfast. The day they put up a new hotel I will be going there. For the time being it is the only game in town.

Room Tip: Check wifi reception before settling into room. Not all rooms have good reception.

Another stock standard average hotel. Clean, efficient and delivers a reliable place to stay, can't go wrong. I think it was probably the best you are going to get in Rancagua (town is a bit of a dump despite being in the wine lands). Free Internet which was quite quick! It's a pity, this is a successful chain in Chile and South America but is just very average, it does not offer anything to differentiate itself from any of the other competing hotel chains

Based on the city that it is located, it is a very reasonable hotel. Centrally located and fairly new building in a clean and decent amenities. Restaurant in the hotel is a plus and even though limited, is better than having to go out chasing for better options. Reasonable breakfast menu. Stay there on my third visit to Rancagua and more than likely would select this property for my next visit.

This was a good pit stop on a trip to chile. ( Don't rely on your GPS Navigation as it doesn't know which streets are one way ) It will get you there eventually. This hotel is part of a Chilean chain. Nice place... warm not hot water in the showers which sucked.. but hey its South America right ? LOL. Probably the best hotel in Rancagua... which I like to think of as the Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania of Chile... ( for you Americans ) For Europeans.. Rancuagua would be the Mannheim of South America... ( ok not as bad ) but you need a place to stay in Rancuagua .. this is it.. clean quiet and cheap. I stayed in October of 2012 and paid 98 bucks at the desk without a reservation.

I come to Chile twice a year for work. Stayed here for ~10 days. If you get a room facing east, the views of the sunrise over the mountains are spectacular. The rooms are big, with a safe, drawers, two desks, and a closet, but the showers seem to be made for tiny people. The showerhead was adjustable to one's height, but when I attempted to adjust mine higher, it just sagged back down to its original position for little people (fail). This hotel is pretty typical based on what I've encountered in Chile; plus it has a secure (but small) parking deck under the building. The surrounding area is a little run-down, but that is Rancagua in general. Felt fairly safe despite the beggars hovering outside the entrance. The hotel food is hit or miss, and the wait staff leaves much to be desired (but that's Chile - waitstaff attentiveness and competence are simply not priorities, it seems). The front desk was hit or miss as well; one of the workers understood no English whatsoever, which is puzzling considering this is a hotel with many international guests at any given time. All in all my stay was suitable and I would consider staying here again.

Room - the toilet assumes you put the soiled paper in the basket beside it. We know this as there was still some there from the previous occupant. Yuck!

Restaurent - apart from one barman who obviously cared and worked his tail off the rest couldn't care less. Everything took ages, getting the menus , taking the orders. The waitress even put our beer in the wine glasses ( I suppose that was easier than doing a proper job).

Breakfast - the room never seemed busy with customers but we had no knives, then no bowls, then no cereals etc. The food was fine.

Swimming Pool - reasonable rules include having to shower before swimming etc. BUT the only shower is inside the ladies toilet. I asked reception about this but was told ' I don't know'. I never did get to swim.

The prices charged and the features of the hotel suggest that somewhere inside the building is a manager. He/She should get out of their office and experience this total 'no one gives a toss' for themselves and do something about it. Hopeless.

Great Hotel, loved it.
Everything was to the standard you would expect, very friendly, helpful and polite staff, great service, everything was great. The only problem was, like everywhere in Chile, the language barrier. But that doesn't take away what a great hotel it was.
