“Very Nice Place to Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

A 50s/60s house with period décor, very comfortable and fully self contained. Has a great spa bath in a back room and comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Easy walk to the main street of Angaston which is a great little town with some very nice coffee shops and places to eat. It's an easy drive from here to many great wineries and the towns of Nuriootpa and Tanunda.

The house is located on a main road so there is a bit of traffic noise, however, it dies down at night so it's a not a real problem. Also it is located across from the Angaston fruit factory, which on the weekend is quiet, however, on the Fri morning we were there truck loading started very early in the morning and we were woken by the noise.

I would definitely stay here again.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Have just returned from spending a couple of nights at this very comfortable house which is well maintained and very comfortable.
Kathy & Ron supply the best quality appliances in this property which would be ideal for a long stay holiday. Our stay was only for 2 nights whilst we did not have to light the fire this would be very welcome for chilly winter nights. There is cooling for the warm summer evenings.
We took advantage for the outside BBQ but ate in the lovely dining room enjoying a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates.
Kathy supplied us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and our fridge held eggs, bacon, mushrooms (must be a South Australian thing) juice and 2 types of milk.
