“Great for a family weekend getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Lovely scenery, has the most amazing golf course. The hospitality is great and so are the activities. It presents a Stress free environment where u can just chill and have a great time and drink with your mates at the club house. And as a bonus the weather is Great, so sunny and warm.

Stayed at Zebula for 2 nights for my brothers wedding, 1st night with the family in a huge 4 bedroom house all with private luxury bathrooms, huge veranda seating and bbq area, small pool and fire pit area, it was unbelievable, too much good stuff to list and exceptional value. Only drawback, the whole park is massive and the houses are really far from the reception and bar, not walking distance, then again you do have wilderbeast, zebra and stuff walking past you on the drive so it's not that bad really. 2nd night I moved into a bungalow, quite big, 2 beds and amazing bathroom, walking distance to the reception restraunt and golf etc. not sure about the price of this room as it was included in the wedding package, but I would without doubt recommend it. There's golf and a spa, Atvs and plenty to do. Never got to see the cheetah run which is a daily show there and sounded like fun . Breakfast buffet was free with the bungalow but if you have to pay its nice but expensive. I highly recommend this place and staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We rented site 60 from Zebula for my Dad's 70th birthday celebration. We were 10 adults and 2 young adults. The house was beautiful and had 5 double en-suite bedrooms. There is a boma and a swimming pool. The house is a 2 minute drive from the reception where we used the well equip gym every morning. The game drive was also great and our guide Norman was knowledgeable. The house is serviced daily which makes it very comfortable for a large group. The front desk's service was friendly and efficient. This is a great option for a large group or a adult family vacation.

Room Tip: Site 60 is stunning with great views from all the rooms.

Recently revamped main lodge shows classic luxury with further extensions to come. Golf course in spectacular condition. Service and value good with plenty of activities for kids. All of this 2.5 hours from home.

Excellent and very kind service. We stayed in a African queen house. Very, very confortable and with a lot of space. Huge terrace overlooking the savannah. Zebras, giraffes and antilopes passing through your garden. It is amazing. I recommend that you arrange for a 5 hours game drive early in the morning. Absolutely amazing! Excellent golf course with a lot of challenges. The restaurant in the club house is excellent. Try the tempura prawns, delicious. It is also a nice place to stay with children.

Huge variety of accommodation for leisure weekends where you can rent a house and fairly realistic rates. The main lodge accommodaiton is superior 4*, but could be in need of at least a soft refurbishment shortly. Waterberg Lodge is super and has lovely bush style accommodation. Zebula is useful for conference delegates too. The main conference room is very basic indeed but I guess serves the purpose. Waterberg Lodge has better conference facilities for small groups up to about 25 delegates. What's nice about the resort is there is so much on offer facilities wise and activities that are available. There's something for everyone. These are fairly pricey on the whole though. They have a lovely spa but I find it fairly expensive. A great golf course too. The food has improved a lot in recent months. All in all well worth visiting.

We stopped in for lunch recently. Was lovely to see the animal experiences but the service in the restaurant was shocking - waited over an hour for a toasted cheese and tomato - and it is OTT expensive (4 milk shakes and 2 plates of chips cost R220.00!). Must confess that we did not do much else but first impressions were that it is not really a game experience but more like a wildlife feature in Sandton.
