“Great door-to-door service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

This hotel is a perfect choice when flying in and out of Milan Malpensa. The door-to-door shuttle runs every half hour and is very convenient both for arrivals and departure. The hotel offers good value for the price, including free wifi, and the rooms are of a good size and well equipped.

Typical airport hotel, ok for a short stay.
But the hotel needs renovation; at least the room I had.
Reception / service:
Professional service and nice people behind the counter.
Nice reception area too.
Rooms:
The room looked quite stuffy with carpets on the floor, and with a very bad atmosphere.
Even after having a window open all night, the room was smelling dirty and dusty!
But the room was quite spacious, with a good work area and a separate seating area.
Free WI_FI, but very slow internet.
Ok bathroom, with a plus for the bathtub.
Restaurant:
High prices, but the quality of both the menu and the food that was served was ok.
Fast and professionell service.
Poor value for money however, price levels considered.
Good breakfast, but dry and badly scrambled eggs and unroasted bacon .

This was a good “airport “ hotel. Not a vacation spot but if you are looking for an overnight hotel with clean rooms, helpful service, free shuttle service to and from airport (I had to drop a rental car off) and breakfast included at a reasonable price this would be a good choice. The afternoon we were there we had a glass of wine outside near a large outdoor patio adjacent to the pool – nice considering the urban location of the hotel. Only complaint is that they have neglected the pool which was filled with green algae. Management – throw some chlorine into the pool once and while!

We stayed overnight before our flight back to the US.

The hotel has a large, modern, if somewhat sterile, lobby. The hotel appears to be a standard location for flight crews so that is a good sign. Check In was fast and efficient. The room was good, also modern with good bedding along with a couch. There was plenty of room to re-pack our two large suitcases for the trip home. The bathroom was spacious, however access to the bathroom was a bit dodgy; there was only about a half a meter between the bed and the bathroom door making it hard to access without disturbing my wife. We did enjoy the fact that we could quickly boil water for coffee and tea with the provided kettle.

We did not use the restaurant or the spa during our short stay

Very stylish and friendly. The restaurant was excellent .

Our room was clean and modern. The bathroom included both a shower and separate bath.

I didn't get to use the swimming pool but the rest of the group managed to chill in it.

Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed just one night here before departing back to uk. We had a car so if you don't it may be problematic as it is in the middle of nowhere. Staff very helpful regarding driving and parking in Milan, saved us a fortune. Good place for one night, think it is in a lower income area as warning signs up in car park. kids loved it as there were xbox and wii, plus lovely pool and outside table tennis table. downside was no english TV except BBC news channel and CNN news channel. Seems to be popular with chinese people as about 4 channels and at breakfast time lost of chinese people. All said and done, it was good for over night and going into Milan for the day, which was lovely. Breakfast was average nothing fabulous, staff seemed helpful. You can't use the pool until the life guard arrives at 11 am until 5pm so bit of a waste of time if you arrive outside those times, which I think most people would. Reception staff told you different times of pool usage to management.

Room Tip: We requested a quite room on the booking chart, it was lovely a peaceful however there were no other...

Novotel hotels are my hotels of choice when staying around an airport location or city center. European hotel rooms are generally small, but Novotel optimizes space so that one does not feel cramped. The rooms are clean and modern, daily breakfast is good, and the airport shuttle service is convenient.
