“Great value and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

If you can get a suite via the standby upgrades they are good value , as they tend to block a lot of the noise you get with courtyard style buildings, the golf view rooms also minimise the noise compared to the garden view which could see your bedroom overlooking the communal path to the restaurant and bar which is bound to get foot traffic late at night.

Restaurant is great and this resort really looks after the kids with cheap/free dinng, the seafood buffet needs a booking and you will see why, it's good value. While the resort is a little way away from some of the coasts attractions, it's very quiet and a shuttle bus is available if you want to venture out, I preferred to spend my time with a glass of wine on the balcony watching with amusement some game called golf being attempted!

Room Tip: Suites have a double door setup which helps reduce outside noise from tour groups at 6AM with their...

Had a function at the golf club across the road so was a handy place to stay, got a great rate booking 25 days out . Everyone polite and professional, rooms good size and clean. A little noisy however as outside noise seems to travel into room easily . Apart from that It was a relaxing easy going stay . Would stay again for sure ,

Stayed here a few times now and love it. Good service, been upgraded more than once. Breakfast great value, beds are some of the best I have ever slept in. Great feel to the place and great location near the coast but far enough away .Rooms very clean and easy to get around the well laid out facility.

Will be back.

Stayed here for my mothers wedding and could not have been happier with the service, rooms and meals. The rooms were very clean and well kept, valet parking and golf cart ride right up to the front door of my room, resturant was great with very affordable prices. It has all the touches of luxury with a homely feeling which, if you're travelling with kids, can be a big plus staying at a more expensive hotel. Could not fault this hotel!

I Recently stayed at the Radisson for work and the customer service was second to none, it was faultless.
The room was comfortable and I had a lovely view over the pool.
The shower was a pain to turn on but you just have to really pull the lever.
Overall a lovely place to stay and I would defiantly stay again

This resort hotel is showing the signs of under-investment in recent years – a little less flesh on the bones and a few wrinkles that could do with some intensive care. It’s also a few kilometres inland, so unable to offer ocean views and immediate beach access. However, these signs of age and distress are balanced by attractive room rates, co-location with an excellent golf course, tennis courts and a superb outdoor swimming pool that is sparkling clean and warm, staff who are welcoming and genuinely helpful, a very good breakfast buffet and, if you are self-driving, covered secure parking.

What does this mean? Your room will be clean, tidy and well appointed, but not to the height of luxury. Your bathroom will be entirely functional but may, however, be somewhat small and have a few slightly chipped tiles and a showerhead over bath that could do with upgrading to use less water. You can easily drive from Brisbane airport in an hour and a half, maximum – even in rush hour, arriving to a peaceful, quiet, minimal traffic abode, but if shopping is your passion you will have to seek out the brighter coast lights. This business traveller was a little surprised when his travel agency booked him in, but came away with a less ravaged credit card than usual and an appreciation of value for money. He would stay again.
