“Jonez on Food sanctuary cove Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

This was possibly one of the best meals we have had. The ambience of the restaurant is like being in someone's home, very relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef is Michelin starred. The wine list great and very reasonably priced. Definitely go back here. An absolute gem.

“In the top three in souther Qld”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

We frequently eat at Jonez's in Sanctuary Cove and are always impressed with the wide ranging and unique menu and the fabulous food. From Japanese influenced appetizers and others, to wonderful local fish and meats, Jonez's always delivers. The service is friendly and efficient and the new decor and room set up is perfect. Not only are the dinners excellent, but the lunch is especially so with a big range of shared dishes /tapas plus fabulous pies and fish.
Jonez's is a great addition to dining on the Gold Coast.

“Ecstatic to find this Sanctuary Cove gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

Had a fabulous lunch at JoneZ with friends who had recently returned from six months in Europe - and they thought JoneZ was right up there with any restaurant they had tried. And we wholeheartedly agreed. The rabbit pie alone was worth its own Gold Star! Service was attentive and professional, wine list with something for everyone, surroundings comfortable, crisp, and airy. Such a great experience that we're going back with 6 people next Wednesday!

“a new, old direction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

It was my husbands birthday and on our last visit to Sanctuary Cove we had walked past Jonez and he remarked he would like to go there sometime, so I booked. When we arrived it was totally different to our "walkby". It went from a cafe with a butchers counter selling meats to a lovely white linen tableclothed restaurant. I was extremely happy at the change, my husband not so much, until he glimpsed the menu and tasted the food. Yes, it had lost the quirky originality of version one but had obviously gained in patronage by conforming to the norm of an upscale restaurant in version two.The place was almost full and it was a wednesday evening. Luckily the originality has survived in their eclectic menu. Make sure to book well in advance.

“Weekend delight.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

We recently dined at Jonez and were absolutely delighted with the meal and service and intend to return many times, and certainly will be recommending.
we had the sweet and sour pork belly, along with main meal of liver wonderfully cooked, you can tell the chef is English, also had black pudding on the menu.
My next choice when I return. The menu was extensive with unusual and interesting mixes all beautifully presented.
Well done, about time we had something different in the area and well priced too.
Pleasantly decorated with some wonderful cookery books on display.
