“The heated pool was perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2011

After months of searching, I finally selected Diamond Cove Resort for our family holiday to the Gold Coast. Our group consisted of four grandparents, four adults and six children aged 3 to 15. I chose a low set resort because of small children and we were not disappointed. Our 2 bedroom unit was great, right opposite the pool and the 3 bed units were also good. The units were very clean, with comfy beds and the complex was really quiet at night, even though it was only one street back from the highway. An oasis for sure. We only went to the beach once as we couldn't get the kids out of the pool and hot spa. Fantastic decked bbq and tables right next to the pool which became our dining room. Great Tavern at end of street and plenty of restraunts nearby. Close to Pacific Fair Shops and Casino. We had a great family holiday and we all agreed we would go back to Diamond Cove. Ps Loved the 2 kookaburras that used to visit. Thanks Trip Advisor for putting me on the right track! Time to plan our next holiday.

We stayed here with our 2 young children. The location is amazing, perfect infact, a short walk to beaches, shops restuarants. But...... the unit we had needed alot of improvement (unit 50). It was extremely out dated, dryer was broken which was frustrating with 2 young kids. The amount of thick dust on the over head fans was foul! We didn't even turn them on. Heaps of hair & dust on floor beside beds. The beds where so hard & you could feel the springs digging into your back, not great!! Maybe we got the crappy unit because we had young kids, who knows?? We saw through another unit on the property & it was amazing! The swimming pool was fantastic, the best part of our stay. Would probably stay again but would not want to be in the dreaded unit 50!!!!

you never quite know what your going to get.We arrived and were offered a choice of an apartment or a Townhouse by the pool. Both were very nice but we opted for the townhouse right by the pool as it had it's own garage and a big plasma Tv[the Bathurst was on].It was very clean, comfortable. It had 2 bathroom and it,s own laundry.Walking distance to all type of interesting shops and restaunts and a short walk to the beach and surfclub. The staff could not have been more helpfull and added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We will certainly be back

Stayed here for 14 nights... lower level which was perfect with 2 kids. Highly recommend this place... quiet street.. bus stop at corner. Handy to everything without being in the hustle and bustle of Surfers. Great pool and bbq facilities. Unit we stayed in was prob in need of a bit of a spruce up, but was ideal for us in terms of location and being right by the pool was a plus for my 8 year old girl. Very safe lagoon style pool...gradually gets deeper at one end.
Amanda in reception was second to none and was ALWAYS eager to help out.

We would certainly go back.

This was our second stay at Diamond Cove and I would recommend to anyone travelling to the Gold Coast. We don't like staying in the middle of Surfers and prefer the low rise resorts. The pool here is excellent, with a great BBQ area. Mini Golf with 3 courses is right next door so great when the kids want a break from the pool. It is walking distance from shops and down the road from Pacific Fair shopping centre. a great place to stay.

It is always a bit of a worry booking via the internet as we have all discovered I am sure, sometimes the photos and description of accommodation are not exactly how it actually appears on arrival. Well not in this case! Everything was first rate. Our 2 bedroom unit was extremely clean and modern, very roomy with a great view of the pool. Parking was excellent and having stayed a little further up the road on a previous visit, the location (which is in a street just off the main road) was much quiter and still everything was really accesible.Loads of eateries and the beach only 5mins away. I think in peak season it would be a little busier and maybe the pool size would be a bit of an issue bit other than that I couldnt fault it. Will most definately be back!!!

Well a great holiday and a great resort we arrived early and left our bags at the desk and came back later. We were allowed to use the facilities while we waited for the room to be available.
The room was nice and clean. The pool was great it was a lagoon style pool and we spent alot of time in there.
