“Great location, feel-like-home accomodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2010

Spend 4 nights here with partner & a 14yo sister. We had the 2 rooms. So its a double bedroom with bathroom and walk-in wardrobe and a 2 single bed room. There are dining & kitchen area and and laundry room. Dish washer powder, dish washing liquid and cloth washing detergent are provided. All the tools are in place, clean towels are on bed. Only thing missing are the shampoos & conditioners/ shower gel/ toothbrushes/sauces/oils/ food. There is a huge plasma scree tv with a dvd player so you can bring dvds or just head to Surfer Paradise centro and rent some from Oovie.

Great view over main beach. It's just 15-20minutes walk along the beach to Surfer Paradise. If you're not a fan of walking, take the bus route 450 from Sea World to Robina where it passes by Surfer Paradise.

We have the balcony that overlook the beach. Amazing! It's relaxing and really, we don't feel like going out because its too comfortable to stay in.

We booked a high floor unit on 19th. Great seaview. Location is very ideal if you drive. Few minutes from Tedder Ave for F&B if you want to avoid the rowdy Surfers paradise. 5mins from SP if you want some action. There is a 24x7 convenience store just on ground floor. Rooms are well furnished and maintained. There is no negative feedback since it is clearly a self catering aprtment meaning no housekeeping of ay sort during your stay. You have to spend time to do laundry and also equip daily amenities like shampoo, etc. We checked in quite late in the night, there are no reception but the process was simple and efficient. Would recommend highly.

We have just returned home after a wonderful holiday at Pacific Views. This was our second trip and we can't praise it enough. The location is second to none - beachfront with great views. This time we had a higher floor - 14 which for sure improves the vista! All in all a great apartment resort. The staff are excellent and we found the apartment clean, modern, well equipped and spacious. We have had mixed experience elsewhere on the Gold Coast but Pacific Views is very good. All of our party had a really nice time. We found plenty to do in the building, the beach and Main Beach itself.

Roll on summer ...

What can we say...we were disappointed. We found Pacific Views through the internet and booked directly with them. They were pleasant on the phone when we were booking and asking for information. We then called them a week prior to travelling there to ask about the options around early checkin and late checkout. The person answering the phone made us feel like we shouldn't have called, telling us they were with someone and to hurry up to tell them what we wanted. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very rude "well, you can't check in until 2pm you know". We hadn't even said hello yet! To cut a very long story short, the tiles of both pools were filthy, the "heated"indoor pool was freezing (by the way, DO NOT ENTER THE SPA - probably hasn't been cleaned since last summer). While the apartment was roomy and had great views, it was so dirty that you had to think twice about walking around bare footed. Stains everywhere. If you decide to play tennis while at Pacific Views, make sure you bring your own tennis balls. The ones we used from the facility were so old, they didn't bounce and we gave up playing pretty quickly. As we said, overall disappointing...the facilities and the service needs a pretty decent upgrade. Shame on you PACIFIC VIEWS.

We rented two 2-bedroom apartments. Both were clean, modern, spacious, well-appointed and had great ocean views. Prices were reasonable too.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed at Pacific Views for 10 nights. We had a great apartment on the 18th floor, and the views were truly spectacular. The apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, was clean, modern and well maintained, and sufficiently spacious.

The resort management was very helpful throughout, and the resort facilities were very good. The indoor pool and spa were great, and while the outdoor pool was small and cold, it didn't bother us as we swam in the ocean everyday-it was heaven!

The resort has a fantastic location just a minute's walk from Tedder Ave, which, while a little pricey, had a great village atmosphere and lots of choices for eating and drinking. Directly underneath the resort, a small grocery store and cafe are very convenient. Of course, the resort is just across the road from the stunning beach. Pacific Views is about a 5 minute drive from Surfer's Paradise if you feel like a little more hustle and bustle.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Pacific Views and would definitely return.

We have returned from a four night stay, in a one-bedroom unit on the 20th floor. We got the on-line package that included breakfast vouchers for the cafe downstairs. We were really glad that we did, as it was great food and great coffee, though I notice that the price seems to have increased for that package.
Our apartment had great views all round and the big advantage to me was the quietness. We have stayed in several high rise places in Surfers and usually the traffic noise rises and is quite unpleasant. Here it was much more peaceful and there were hardly any common walls. Carpet may not be as trendy as hard surfaces, but it was great not having to listen to the noise of footsteps above us.
Another positive is that there are two lifts and we did not have to wait long at any time. The carpark was well organised, and the beach was really close. The outdoor pool is rather small but good to have a quiet swim away from kids, who favoured the heated indoor one.

We did find we did need to use the car a bit. Tedder Ave restaurants were pretty pricey so we only ate there once. I think if you were going to be travelling to the fun parks, which are all to the north of Surfers, the location is excellent.
