“Pool beautiful , rooms loverly , service flawless .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

This hotel is opulance at its best and i would expect nothing less from a hotel of this calibar , you pay for what you get and when your folking out $500 + a night for a room you want the best , the rooms were everything i would expect the bedding comfortable and the bathroom was just beautiful with the marble and spa bath , the ammenities are everything you would expect . Pool is loverly as is the fake beach and bean bag lounges , having to pay extra for a kabana package is a little annoying considering the price you are already paying for the hotel they could at least supply you with a kabana . The restaurant attached to versace is VIE it is not even worth a look in , its a perthetic excuse for a restaurant ( please dine elsewhere ) . The breakfast buffet was that of a 5 star hotel but not amazing or anything special , it was loverly by all means but i was expecting more from this hotel .

Room Tip: Get a pool view , other wise you will be looking at a car park .

Perfect luxurious accommodation. We didn't need to leave the hotel, the stunning pool and the impeccable service made our stay enjoyable. Loved the restaurants, food, cocktails and the best buffet in Queensland, with an amazing selection of seafood and desserts to keep any person happy. At the end of our stay at the Palazzo Versace we were completely relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to get back to work. A must stay and we look forward to our next trip there soon. Diana Clark

Took my partner here for a special birthday celebration. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The bedroom was lovely with a nice view of the pool. The only minor thing was the complimentary slippers did not fit my partner. They neeed to make larger sizes for men. The buffet breakfast is great, with a variety of hot and cold food to choose from. Can't say anymore than that its a great place to stay and would recommend staying here as a treat or for a special occasion.

Dear szjmsn30

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Tripadvisor.

I would have to agree that Palazzo Versace is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, so thank you for choosing to stay with us. We often have guests joining us to commemorate their special days, and have some amazing options for our guests to choose from to do just that.

From High Tea options; popular for baby showers or Hen's parties for girl's to our Scarlett Seduction packages perfect for any romantic occasions.

We would love for you to stay with us again. It does not need to be a special occasion, for we are constantly working on improving our offers [including offering our plush slippers in larger sizes] Hope to see you soon.

Warm Regards

from the outset this hotel was extremely impressive. the staff were wonderful, polite and very helpful, nothing was a problem. we had a very relaxed time by the pool and enjoyed all food and amenities, the spa was amazing, and again, with very friendly staff. however, one little problem on departure. we were there on 'a deal' as the male receptionist pointed out and this meant we should not have had breakfast in bed. when i pointed out that i was not aware of this and had been told by a member of staff that it was ok, he proceeded to question me on this member of staff demanding a description of them and nationality! i felt very uncomfortable at this. i then told him that this should be made obvious to 'us people' as he called us, perhaps a foot note on the breakfast card or perhaps 'us people' should be informed of this on check in. he told me all hotels had this policy of having to come down to the restaurant for breakfast if on a deal. i politely informed him i do not make a habit of frequenting hotels so yet again, perhaps he could tell us 'peasants' this information on arrival to save embarrassment all round! all said, we loved every minute of this hotel and staff except for this one unfortunate on departure. i should state however that he did amend the bill and all was ok in the end but i definitely departed the hotel feeling embarrassed and annoyed. i hope i correctly in my flustered state described the correct staff member, to them if they read this i'm sorry, to martin on reception you should be ashamed of yourself. if 'us people' didn't come to the palazzo on deals, you probably wouldn't be in a job. this was not even the height of the season and the hotel was very quiet, so really......was it such a problem?? you were the only one who seemed to mind??

Room Tip: we booked a double superior, good size room with 2 double beds. king size superior had one king size...

Loved it ... was there before Christmas and the foyer had the most spectacular Christmas tree on display. The room are head to toe Versace and may not be to everyone's taste but they are elegant and indulgent. We had a junior suite and it was all we could have hoped for. The breakfast was a treat each morning with a vast selection of hot and cold food (from full English breakfast to sushi) to cater for all tastes.

We really enjoyed the experience

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are arguably the most helpful and friendly I have had the pleasure of meeting in Australia. The rack rate of this hotel puts it in the top rankings of hotels in Australia. We booked through our travel agent had obtained a discounted rate. I guess to put it into perspective for the cost of week here at full rate one could spend several weeks at a five star in Asia. However we found the experience well worth what we had paid. We liked the location close to restaurants, beach walks and shopping. The room faced the highway but was very well appointed and comfortable. We returned home relaxed and content. Highly recommended for that special occasion.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the Broadwater, but you may pay considerably more than we did

Stayed here in 2009 for 4 nights with my wife as we went to Australia for our Honeymoon.
Right from the beginning Airport pick up, check in, room, the hotel ,pool was all 5 STAR.

The hotel is close to surfers paradise and a mall is located right next to the hotel ....
Hotel serves superb Breakfast ..

Pallazo versace is slightly expensive but once you stay I guess its worth it...

Room Tip: pool side rooms
