“God awful, do not recommend!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

We were so excited to come to see the show we even paid an extra $30 on top of the already ridiculous price for "top tail seats". The premium package consisted of a not so premium drinks package, 3 photos (which were actually the only thing we enjoyed) a tour behind the stables - which was almost as boring as the show and "top rail seats" complete with a cockroach running across the table mid meal.
The meals were horrible, and even the pavlova was crap! How do you stuff up a pavlova? They gave one of us the wrong meal and forgot to bring us tea at the end. So much for "VIP".
The show itself was boring, being a horse trainer myself I was excited to see what the horses and riders could pull off. I was left with a man laying over a horse whacking him in the front leg for about a minute before he finally had jack of it and laid down, the only "trick" for the whole show. The barrel racing was an embarrassment, the trick riding good but average (you can see better at the Royal Easter shows) and the rest was just cantering around the arena.
Was expecting to see some clever dogs throughout the show too, but was left with one who didn't come when he was called (purposefully). Gee, never seen that before!
Overall it was like a bad musical, tacky jokes and lame audience participation. What an absolute let down.

“Spectacular Spectacle!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Wrap an Imax theater, live performance theater, movie theater, outback cowboys, dogs and horses together in an arena filled with enthusiastic guests enjoying a steak dinner - aussie style to get a little glimpse of the 'Outback Spectacular' presentation. Racing legend, Pharr Lapp, was the feature story of the evening. Did we mention the real helicopter helping with the cattle/sheep roundup? Add wonderful music to round out a perfectly marvelous, worth every penny evening.

“A great evening out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Second time I have been. Great night out. Show is really good with lots of good ole Aussie humour and audience participation. Food is great and the staff are amazing. Horses are awesome but didnt seem to be as much live horse action as the first show I went to when it first started up.

“Fantastic Asustralian show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Its been a while since we went here its close to the gold coast and brisbane probably half way. I am so proud to take overseas visitors here to this australian show, they do change the shows and they are all centred around australiana. The food is so good which is unusual for a mass crowd. Its clean and the horses are so well looked after. Its worth every penny!

“Proud to be an Aussie!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Great show, great atmosphere, great food, great service!!!
I have never been to a show like this before but would take the family there again. I attended a Thursday night show with a heap of kids from NSW, Vic, SA, WA and Qld who had been competing at a Championship and we all had a great time! Don't have a negative thing to say about the attraction...
