“Great value, huge room, fab location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012 via mobile

Stayed here in Aug 2011, group of 4 girls aged 21. We got placed in a room at the sister hotel Acapulco II which is literally 10 steps away from the main apartments.
Our apartment was HUGE. 2 Lovely sized bedrooms, big kitchen area and balcony. Kitchen was a little grotty, but hey, not there to cook! Bathroom was functional but not the best looking! Lol. But it had what we needed, cannot complain.
Location was at the top of strip, so far enough away from the noise, but literally 10 mins walk so not too far!
The pool at the hotel is pretty dinky, we always took a walk to the beach for breakfast to then stay on free sunbeds at a beach cafe. Loved the beach!
All in all for the price we paid, it was a bargain and myself and the girls had no problems with our stay. Would recommend for value and location :)

Me and 7 of my mates ended up here on our holiday in July 2011. We arrived at the hotel about 7.30am after a night flight and were pretty knackered. The staff were nowhere to be seen for a good hour, despite saying there was 24 hour staff service when we booked. Oh and also, we had a look at the 'swimming pool' which closely resembled an abandoned bath tub which had a dead rat/mouse at the bottom of it. When the staff finally decided to appear just before 9, we couldn't get into our rooms that we had booked because they hadn't yet been cleaned despite them being 'aware' of our arrival time. So we had to pretty much just throw our things into one of our three rooms and return about an hour later. When we arrived back at the rooms after they had cleaned it, we were rather disappointed. The beds were clean etc but the interior was dated and our shower only decided to turn hot at night time or if you left it running for about 4 hours in the day. There was also no shower hook to hang the shower from so you pretty much had to wash yourself whilst holding the head like we were living in the cowboy era. The cleaning staff were stupid and were horrendously loud every morning, and didn't have any consideration for the time despite us only returning from a night out a few hours before. They would be dragging wooden furniture around the other rooms like it was a right laugh and as if they were trying to make as much noise as possible, whilst shouting to each other as if one of them lived up Mount Everest. To which they would then almost smash our door down trying to get us out of bed to clean our room when we just wanted to sleep, so we had to tell them to [--] off a few times after asking them politely didn't work. A few members of the staff were nice, however there was this Cockney who worked there who was just a complete idiot, prancing around like he owned the place with his embarrassing/cringing attitude to which he thought he was top boy. We did lose a towel, however we can't totally remember how we lost it, although we probably did we had to pay 8 euro's charge. Other than that, it was a decent place to start the night and was right on the strip so only took about 5 mins to get to the good bars, but would not recommend.

When we first arrived we though oh jeez what have we booked here, the pool is quite small, the rooms are very basic and a view of a wall from our balcony....then we went out to the bar and the couple who owned the place were fantastic! so friendly and free shots all the time! YAMAS!!

If you are looking for a basic fun hotel, close to the strip about 10 min walk to the beach, shop just on the corner then this is the place to be...was around 5 euro for pint of cocktail and bar snacks were pretty cheap 3 euros

Room Tip: we had a studio room which was small and no living space.... some friend we met had a bigger room ac...

Three of us stayed here last July for a week , Firstly when we arrived quite early morning Nancy one of the owners said she would stay up and check us in when I rang her before we set of on this holiday. After waiting around for about 6 hours she finally woken and checked us in to our apartment. At first glance it seemed okay and rather clean but then when it came to using the facilities it was horrible the shower was a dribble and was never hot plus the cleaner came in unannounced at around 8 in the morning. Another major fall for this complex is that there son who works there with them follows you around and perves on all the girls. We only payed 50 pound each for the week so we wasnt expecting much. The owners themself thou are really nice and helpful just be aware of the son TONI. ZANTE IS A WICKED PLACE THOU.

I just got home from a 2 week stay at this apartment set up.I did'nt expect to much and when we arrived it was very much as expected.qouting on some of the other reviews or copying I agree with many of the poor points yes they dont clean your room every day.the towels are akin to sandpaper, they want more money to put the aircon on for you 50euros per week, although genuinly a pleasant couple(marinos and nancy) they dont warm too much to you if you are not spending in their bar.You are being encouraged to drink the shots all different types of which most is absolute rubbish( I never had one the whole two weeks) I actually watched marinos pour cheap rubbish into a labelled bottle--why would you do this if you wer'nt trying to trick someone--.You will be woken up at all different hours of the night with mozzies buzzing around you, youngsters coming home , quad bikes revving up and the go-cart track ( 150 meters from the complex ) still going till two in the morning. One particular night we did decide to have a couple of drinks on arriving back (app 2230 hrs) we sat just outside the glass bar area and Nancy having downed a shot and banging her glass on the bar swivelled on her chair and threw the glass onto the floor of which a big chunk hit one of my travel companions , far from apologising she said it was greek tradition. For me it was down right irresponsible behaviour. Now to put it all into perspective whilst I am 65 I do think
some provision could be made in between here and there to accomodate the likes of me but it seems not even on my last day I was alone by the pool for a couple of hours and the music ---well thats what they call it , its all manufactured---- was put on not as loud as some occasions but loud enough to drive me back to my room, and I was the only one there.I didnt have the pleasure of meeting the eldest son who others have commented on but the younger one was nothing less than foul he hardly needed to contribute to me never returning but he sure acted as he diddnt want us there---Perhaps I should have told his parents---.For you younger ones who read this I'm sure you will love it --its cheap , noisy , loads of alcohol on offer, not far from the main strip where its buzzing,Nancy and Marinos are very friendly all in all everything you want for this type of holiday if your in your early 20's and nocturnal.I've tried to be really honest here but please bear in mind I think it was me who chose the wrong resort and complex not the other way round

Room Tip: It's difficult to choose a nice room the complex is split into 3 blocks but the whole area is so...

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, they don't clean your room, dont give you any loo roll, service is terrible and staff are very rude...no-one here to check us in when we arrived at 4am even thought we had paid for that nights accommodation so had to wait outside by ourselves
til 8am down the back alley which
is where this hellhole is situated and then asked us to be out of our room the day before our flight so they could clean it for the next people again we had paid for that night too. There's never any hot water and the pool is filthy if you
could even call it a pool it's the size of a puddle!!! Shockingly rubbish
couldnt wait to leave!! Don't stay here it will ruin your holiday.
