“Excellent food from a great family restaurant - do not miss!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

So good we chose to eat at this restaurant 3 times during our holiday. Fantastic food, great service and Biel in particular made our two boys feel very welcome. We found out this is a family run restaurant which we thought helped create a more warm and welcoming atmosphere than some of the other restaurants in the area. The set menu is amazing value and the mixed cheese salad starter is a must. Also worth knowing that the family who own this restaurant are also looking after the nearby Titanic Park - free admission and as long as you're having a drink you and your family can use all the facilities which include a large pool and kids play area. Kept our two boys happy for hours on end!! All in all a quality restaurant owned and run by lovely people.

“Excellent food & nice people - dine here!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by a chap in a souvenir-type shop adjacent to the bridge & it seemed likely that he was unbiased so we gave it a try. We were impressed by the fact that the owner standing outside said "hello" as we walked by rather than the opposition restaurants close-by having people doing their level best to pressure you into dining with them.
When we walked back twenty minutes later & entered we were warmly greeted & well looked after. My partner had a fish dish & I ordered a steak. The owner kindly recommended a local wine which also turned out to be excellent. Again, we were impressed that he recommended a cheaper wine rather than trying to sell us a more expensive option.
Our food was excellent. Afterwards, we chatted with the owner & his daughter over brandy. He pointed out his boat at the other side of the marina & was generally very chatty & clearly they are a very nice family.
Normally I might recommend a restaurant - but in this case I would say "don't go elsewhere".

“Perfect Paella”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

We are big paella fans and thought whilst we were in Menorca we would go to Cala'n bosch marina to have some! There are a few restaurants there that do paella but this one caught our eye. We weren't disappointed. We had a anchovy and tomato bread and a small portion of whitebait for starters, well if these were small portions then i can't imagine what a large would be. The whitebait was cooked to perfection and the bread and anchovy really tasty. The paella was beautifully presented and was dished up at our table. It was amazingly tasty cooked to perfection and a generous size. The langoustines and prawns were succulent and cooked so well, the muscles were so fresh and the rice gorgeous. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, we think it is a family run restaurant and it shows as they all work well together. If you are in the area you won't be disappointed.

“Fantastic, friendly family run restaurant Best in Calan n' Bosch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

If you ever are in the Calan n' Bosch area this restaurant is a must visit the food is excellent and the welcome is always warm and friendly.
The T-bone steak is second to none and the shoulder of lamb is melt in the mouth, the coconut prawns and also the sizzling prawns as starters are amazing. If you like coconut you must try the coconut ice cream served in the shell. Excellent value for money, the food is A la carte and always top quality you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu,
We love this restaurant and whenever we return we are always treated like VIPs not just another customer/number like most restaurants (mind you these will be the empty ones ha ha).
Huge thank you to Biel, Lisa and Oscar (the chef) and of course THE BOSS for making our holiday very special in Calan n' Bosch this is a beautiful place to visit with views over the marina and a very short walk away from the local amenities and the beach.

This is a lovely dining experience where you are never rushed you can take your time and enjoy the evening and watch the sun go down in a wonderful atmosphere with lovely varied music in the background and if you are lucky the Boss with give a real treat and sing a few songs for you (excellent entertainment and very good voice)

Biel is on hand with a very impressive wine list (all hand picked) and he has an amazing cognac selection which is very special indeed. Especially Delamaine Pale and dry premier cru.

We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant and will be returning very soon to visit.
