my wife and i stayed here with 2 friends end of june on s/c basis rooms 125 and126 very clean and spacious. the maid came in every day (except sat/sun) clean towels every other day bedding change twice a week.pool and pool area very clean and tidy only problem was they serve beer in half pint plastic cups so had to keep going back to bar to fill them has it did not last long.food was o.k and drinks 1.5euros 4 half 1.5euros 4 a glass of wine,The beach was nice about 15 min walk away.We thought the excursions from the harbour were expensive 70 euros 4 a 4 hour fishing trip and i cant remember the price of the other trips just have a look 4 yourself.now lets get on to the subject of places to eat and drink just down the road there is an indian this was nice so was the chinese buffet 8.95euros 4 all u can eat.the one place we found last but 1 day was brill can not remember the name but it has a big batman figure outside they did paella 4-1 8.95euro and it was lovely the wife had chicken in mushroom sauce and she said it was great.the only trouble we found eating out was u put some weight on has no one does a small plate they are big and where ever u go they fill them up.for breakfast it has 2 b MAMBOS 2-4-1 4.5euros and they are very nice.Places we found 4 entertainment was the PHOENIX 2 lads who do a great drag act and different shows every nite and PIROS this place is very lively again shows every nite and met some gr8 people here.Durying the day after enough sun we also found a couple of great places THE DOG AND DUCK really friendly family bar a full size snooker table and 2 pool tables and space invader machines also the FLOWER OF SCOTLAND if u like a flutter on the horses the guy here will take your bets had a few good nites in here with deal or no deal and singing until 3am.SO ALL IN ALL WE HAD A FAB TIME IN CALETA DE FUSTE AND WOUND GO BACK TO LA TAHONA and hopefully going back next year. OH ps i forgot to mention that when we were there, there was a lot of decorating being done to the rooms and the reception area so everything should be a lot brighter next year

This was our 1st visit to fuerteventura, we found it very enjoyable. The hotel was basic but that is all u need when u pay so little, the staff were freindly the food was ok but there were many surrounding restaurant and bars if the food is not to your standards. My family all enjoyed our holiday so much we are goin back this year !!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are basic and all the same.

My hubby to be, myself and our 8 month old son came to stay here for one week in October so the weather was still nice but not too hot for our son.
Wasn't like the pictures we saw of this resort in person they must have been taken some time ago or digitally enhanced!
Like most places abroad the rooms was colourful. Very dated furniture that could do with updating and so could the self catering utensils. We paid to hire the cotbed at the resorts ( BIG MISTAKE ) the first one that came smelt like a dirty nappy and even had blood on the net sides, with a big whole at the bottom end of the cotbed which my son could of easily turned in his sleep and just fall on the floor! So I complained and asked for another..when it came it was better but still not clean and very dusty looking! I used wipes to clean it and they were brown when I had used them on it. Made me feel very nervous about letting my son sleep in it.. so we used out beach towels to line the sides as god knows whats been on it and not cleaned.
The room we was in the bathroom had blood all on the floor, tiles.. god knows what happened. We asked to be moved, which they happily did but again the room was not clean. Our son could crawl but no way was he doing on the sandy / dusty obviously dirty floor. Throughout our whole stay our room was cleaned once whilst we was there!
I've stayed all over the island and this has to be the worst resort I've ever stayed sorry to say.
The pool is very basic and small nothing really for a child, half the time no bar staff there.
It's safe to say we was glad we didn't pay all inclusive as it didn't look a very clean place.
If you are looking just for a room to sleep in then you will be fine here for a cheap and cheerful holiday if you are out all the time.
I would really not recommend this for families or anyone to eat here.

This is a great base from which to explore caleta de fuste very close to all amenities and clean accommodation.

The apartments are very traditional and basic but typical for this class of accommodation

Here's an overview

Rooms : basic but functional beds comfy and rooms quite spacious

Pool : there is one large pool in three sections cleaned everyday

Food: exactly what you would expect from 2-3 star always plenty bread cold meats chips salads a few hot choices pasta and plenty fruit yoghurt etc ( sprouts out at breakfast one day which we all thought was hilarious )

Drinks : nice cocktails at the pool bar local beer and wine all fine

Entertainment : you have to make your own really but that was perfect for us as hardly see e children at home so I'd rather spend time with them than palm them off at a kids club

Location : great ! Very close to main shops bars etc, very short transfer times under 10 mins

Overall this is ideal for a cheap break, never understand bad reviews for places like this when people complain as if I book three star For under £275 i don't expect to arrive and be presented with a boutique luxury hotel 5 star hotel seems like common sense really.

Yes there are much fancier hotels in the area such as the barcelo,Elba Sara and carlota but They are three times the price.

Enjoy :-)

Room Tip: Piero's bar round the corner great for live music!
