Just spent 2 weeks at Los Geranios Suites. 10 minute taxi ride from the airport cost E9.50. Arrived at the hotel at 2100 and were checked quickly and smoothly. Our junior suite was spacious and comfortable with independant air conditioning in the bedroom and living area. The small seperate kitchen was well laid out with 2 ring hob, extracter, combo microwave and fridge. an electric kettle was supplied on request at reception. Satelite TV offered only one English speaking station..CNN. The hotel is very quiet and was never close to being evenhalf full during our stay. Most days there were fewer than 20 people round the pools. Loads of sun loungers, 80% of them unused at any given time. Still some muppets were up at the crack of dawn to to book them and no they weren't German. There were no organised daytime activities, just the pool snack bar. It was very quiet and relaxing round the pool. For some it was too quiet but it suited us perfectly. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food, although the dinning room looked very inviting. The hotel bar was empty all the time, even when evening entertainment was laid on. It's a 5 minute walk to the resort center. English, Scottish & Irish bars abound & if karaoke is your thing you'll be happy. Amongst the pretty low brow ex pat watering holes there are several very good locally owned restaurants offering a range of local & international dishes. About the best are El Patio, Fado Rock and El Fuente. 5 minutes walk from the hotel away from Caleta is the Atlantico commercial center with a beter range of shops than in the entire town and with a EuroSpar supermarket that is much cheaper and more extensive than the Nettos in the resort proper.
Overall the hotel is very well located on the beach in a quiet location with well above average accomodation & pleasant, courteous & helpful staff. A place to chill but not to party.

Me and my boyfriend loved this hotel. It's modern, clean and friendly. It has a good location on the sea front and a short walk along the beach front promanade takes you in to the resort center.

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed often.

This hotel concentrates on luxury and relaxation. The building itself has been built with no expense spared. The rooms are all air-conditioned, well thought out and well decorated. We had a junior suite which had a modern kitchen, bedroom, modern bathroom, living area and a large balcony. Overall the room was fantastic. From double glass basin sinks in the bathroom to automatic lighting in the sliding wardrobes, this hotel offers a good quality of accomadation.

The pools are well kept and, as there are 2 adult pools, you can always find room for a swim. The pool area itself has a snack bar and plenty of sunbeds. Clean, blue beach towels can be collected from reception each day.

The resort itself is quite commercial but there are some fantastic places to eat if you are not seduced by the chineses and mexican. You can find typical canaries food if you want it. For tapas we'd recommend Spanglish.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday and that was mostly down to the hotel. You wont be disoppointed.
