“Lovely break, excellant value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Arrived home last night from a short break at this lovely hotel.
We stayed in a sea view room in the San Jorge side of the hotel. The room was very spacious with the biggest bed we have ever seen and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious with a large walk in shower. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard and the maids were all friendly. The only bad thing I would say about the room is there is no air con, we just about got away with it in April/May but it would put me off returning in peak season. We just couldn't fathom why a hotel of this standard would not have it already. There was a safe in the room for a charge but the fridge was free (have been to hotels before were we have come back to the room to find our stuff locked in the fridge!)
The grounds were lovely, both pools were clean with plenty of sunbeds and even if you roll up late on there were always plenty available, although you would expect that in low season. There is a lovely area with gazebos so that you can sit and have a quiet drink in the shade, its a very pretty area with lots of lovely plants and flowers.
We stayed all inclusive and although I am a very picky eater there was something each night. Usually they had a choice of two meats and one fish to be cooked in front of you as well as numerous other dishes already prepared. In the morning they would also cook omelettes to order as well as crepes. The restaurant is also open at lunch time with a full menu available and there is also a snack bar next to the pool were soft drinks, ice cream and cakes are available self service with a bar service for alcohol. Bottled water is available at no extra cost.
The hotel staff were all friendly and hard working, the animacion team were enthusiastic but not pushy and had various games available during the day.
All in all this hotel was very good value (we got an excellent deal with Travel Republic) and I would recommend it mainly for families or couples, definitely not a place for gangs of lads or girls. Its only 11euros in a taxi from the airport which is cheaper than booking transfers!
We really cant fault the hotel, and the only potential negative was the lack of air con but as it was early season that didn't affect us. If we were to return to Fuerteventura then we would not hesitate to book here again.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are worth paying for

We haven't had many hotel holidays but as I became disabled recently, we decided we would try and make life easier. I was impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness and design of the hotel. Our room had plenty of space for my wheelchair and a beautiful view of the sea. We used the balcony a lot for sitting and sun-bathing. There was easy access throughout the hotel and a mobility shop where I hired a scooter. I could go along the sea-front on a well paved pathway, to the main shopping/eating part of town.
The pool was a bit too cold but I still used it every day for my exercises. My teen-aged daughters preferred to walk to the beach. We enjoyed new experiences in the hotel's shooting range most mornings. There was a good photographer and I have some nice photos. We were self-catering but had a few meals in the hotel and I thought the food was OK but not great. (The vegetables were over-cooked and there was little variety.) The rest of my family liked it! The WIFI connection was VERY slow, which got frustrating sometimes as connections to sites like Facebook sometimes timed out.
All of the staff were very professional and helpful and hard-working. From the cleaners to the restaurant staff to Reception, everyone was friendly and pleasant. The guy who organised social events had SO much energy and worked extremely hard to help folk enjoy their holiday. We didn't always want to join in and when we wanted an early night I thought we would be disturbed by the noise but the rooms are designed such that our bedroom was pointing out towards the quiet ocean and we hardly heard any noise coming from the atrium area. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a nice hotel for families. We stayed in a one bedroomed self catering room on the third (top) floor, our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the main living area (which she said was comfortable). The rooms were clean and had all the essentials we needed. We were in block 2 which on one side overlooked a central
courtyard type area, which was next to the main entertainment areas, during the evening it did get rather noisy, til quite late!

The hotel had two pools which looked very clean and even though there are notices saying don't put towels on sun beds, people did, so you had to be up early to get one!

The hotel had a restaurant where you could have breakfast and an evening meal
(which you could pay for at the end of your stay or put credit on your room number and pay as you go) but there are plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walk of the hotel, all of which were reasonably priced.

There was a manmade sandy beach within a ten minute walk which was very clean
and good for children to play on.

If you wanted wifi in your room you had to pay an extra charge ( the charge only covered one device and we didn't' find it very reliable) but you could get an hour free
wifi in the hotel reception.
Room safes were at an extra charge too.

The hotel had various amenities such as a handy mini supermarket and an English type pub with pool tables, games room for older children, laundry area and a snack bar near the pool that looks out towards the sea. There was a small children's
outside play area which seemed popular too.

Just returned from a week at this hotel and can't really find fault with it. The hotel check in was very smooth and straightforward. The room was very large with really comfy bed and a fabulous shower and views over the sea, which we paid for and was well worth it. Sat out on our balcony for an hour most mornings, either reading or just soaking up the view. The hotel and rooms were very clean and as stated previously the pool areas were kept very clean and the pool water checked frequently. The staff were most friendly and helpful and observant in ensuring that drinks were provided as soon as your glass was empty and that dirty plates were cleared from your table. The food was always piping hot and there's certainly enough to choose from even for the fussiest of people. If I was to make a criticism the only thing would be that there is not a quiet bar for those who didn't want to watch the evening entertainment but that's just a preference we would have liked. Anyone thinking of booking a holiday here, all I can say is "book now"!!!

Room Tip: Worth paying for a sea view.

From checking in at reception on Easter Saturday until checking out 14 days later the staff at this hotel could not be faulted and really make it a pleasure to stay here. Food was varied and always very tasty and well cooked. There were 9 of the family holidaying together with ages spread from 6-60 and everyone was well catered for. The location is perfect being only a 10 minute walk into the town and down to the beach and for a quiet relaxing break it takes a lot to beat it.

I'd stayed at the sister hotel, The Elba Sara and had not had the best of times.
I read reviews on here before booking and was pleasantly surprised.

Firstly - a HUGE SHOUT for the reception staff. They were superb, without exception. Special mention to Gabriel, Patricia and Begona. All of whom went the extra mile to ensure my stay was problem free and enjoyable.

The rooms were lovely. Modern, spotless and spacious. I was in room 412...highly recommended...if you want a view. Not so if you want sunshine and it does get VERY windy and can be loud. (I found it comforting!).

Housekeeping visited each day - timing could be erratic - but I had a fresh supply of towels and loo roll!

The bed in the room was a comfortable king size and the bedding was pristine.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room - but the plastic spoons were cheap and saucers...were rare.

There is plenty of storage in the room and the corridors and lifts were kept clean and tidy.

The bar was fine. I didn't experience any problems waiting to be served. There are two lovely outside terraces with comfortable and modern furniture. Staff, however, rarely seemed to come round and clear tables and we never once observed them emptying/swapping ashtrays.

We never stayed in the hotel for entertainment so cannot comment on this.

I travelled with three friends and celebrated my birthday. The hotel provided me with a lovely plate of fresh fruit, a bottle of Cava and a lovely card.

The restaurant is probably where the hotel loses my support.

On the whole, the quality of the food was very good, especially breakfast. But it lacked something. There was no 'watch your dinner being cooked' station...as there was no omlette station at breakfast. (Petty? Probably). Desert was ...disappointing and repetitive at best.

The pool area was spotless and never before have there been so many sunbeds in such plentiful supply and in such good nick. The pools were clean and 'fresh' and families stuck to the rules - kiddies in the kids pool and no under 16s in the jacuzzi.

A short stroll from the hotel gardens is a lovely stretch of beach - user beware, 3/5 euros per sun lounger, per day. However...again in good repair, with a brolly and the sea was calm and shallow, ideal for families.

If sand in your smalls is not your preference, then a stroll to the end of the pier for a cold beer is the order of the day. It is beautifully located, with wind breaks around some tables with a food menu for those wealthy enough to partake. (The most expensive comparative menu we found).

All of this said, the hotel is well located on the outskirts of the resort. We hired a car and there is ample free parking.

Would I stay here again. Absolutely. But on a B&B basis.

The euro being what it is at the moment made eating out relatively inexpensive which was good as we opted for breakfast and lunch and a trip out every night.

Tables are cramped together and you are not able to tune out of your neighbour's conversation. There was no 'flow' to service and people darted in all directions, often making carrying a plate of food precarious.

We didn't experience any problem ordering drinks, but it was plain to see that staff were rushed off their feet and juggling tasks. Clearing the tables was often a slow and self service event.

Went on an all inclusive family holiday from the 4th-18th April.

I went with family and my children and the hotel did their best to keep all 3 apartments close to each other.
The rooms were spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Cleaners were in nearly everyday with clean towels and kept our room lovely. It was also nice to see the pools being checked several times a day.
The restaurant staff were fab as was all the food.
The entertainment staff, especially Isma went above and beyond and made our holiday experience all the more pleasureable.
There was also a photographer, Francesco, who captured some fantastic shots of my kids and family.
I cant fault anything. All staff were friendly and polite.
This had to be one of the best holidays i have ever had and i cant wait to return.
Thank you to all who made my holiday so great and cant wait to see you again :)
