We arrived with trepidation, due to reports we had read, but it seems that some will moan at nothing. This hotel complex lacks nothing in any department. The staff were all very friendly. the director was always on hand to take (if any) complaints, and the food was lacking nothing at all. We stayed at this hotel on full board, for the first time ever, and believe me, I would recommend this to anyone. I am in the process of booking my party in for next April, with no concerns whatsoever. The party I am talking about is 30 strong. Is that recomendation enough for you?

Having never been to Caleta de Fuste before we did not know where was good to stay for a couple...well this hotel was brillient for what we needed. There is choice of All Inclusive, Half Board and Self Cateing, we chose Self Catering because we are fussy eaters. The hotel is split into three different areas, San Jorge, Antigua and Suites we stayed in the suites. The main reception area is in Antigua which was in the middle of the other two hotel areas.

When we arrived at night we were greeted by receptionists and although we did not really understand where he was telling us to go we eventually made it to our room. On route to our room we walked past the pool and the entertainment room which seemed to be quiet. However, by our room was a pub and it was quite lively and we thought "oh no, we are right by a pub and it was noisey" but by12.30 it was quiet. When we walked inthe room was brightly painted oranges and yellows and this made the rooms. The room was very spacious and we had a huge double bed which was actually quite comfy. In your room you get a oven top and mircowave but you can hire kettles, toasters, irons, ironing boards etc from the on site shop. There is a deposit to pay and then you about 10 euro to hire each of them for a week.

The hotel is quite central, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. If you are lucky and get a room at the back of the hotel it looks right out on to the gorgeous sea it really is a nice view, you can ask for a sea view and i think it costs around 30 euro for a room with an amazing view. The hotel has two on site supermarkets but the resort itself has a lot of Netto's which were slightly cheaper.

The hotel has numerous pools around the 3 hotels and guests can use any of them and the pool in the Costillo Suites was quite small in comparison but it was quieter and more young children friendly as it has a small childrens pool. Also in Suites pool it is a sun trap so if you goign for a tan sit in there.

Hotel staff spoke fluent english and they were really helpful if you needed anything. Maids cleaned your room 5 times a week in which they change your towels and linen is changed once a week which could be a downfall as it was really warm in the night when we stayed. Overall this hotel was great for a sun holiday it was quite basic but that is all we wanted and the staff were great. We will be returning again and do recommend to couples and families!!

Just returned after a week with my wife and 2 boys (16) (11). Had a great time and would recommend this hotel for anybody looking for an all inclusive. Food was excellent and contrary to earlier report plenty of variety. Chef at the hotplate breakfast, lunch and dinner cooking to order. Fried eggs, omelletes or pancakes in the morning. Chicken, chops, pork, steak, kebabs fish all cooked on request for lunch and evening meal..Snack bar also serves a great selection of food throughout the day as well as keeping kids supplied with chips drinks, ice cream and crisps. Entertainment not great but bearable. Three pools to choose from one of which was heated. Found most of the staff to be really friendly and helpful. Good tip earlier re transfers. After reading this we cancelled our Thomas Cook transfers receiving £80.00 refund. Jumped in a taxi at the airport (long queue but only waited 20 minutes). Taxi fare was 9 euros each way, saving ourselves about 65 quid and much quicker than the coach.. All in alla great holoday and great place to stay, would defo go back

Just arrived back from the san jorge, pool areas are the best part of this complex, entertainment non excisiting at night, 20 mins kids disco, then another hour couple of singers, not for kids they were bored stiff. The food ok but hope you like pork chops, chicken, chicken kebabs these are on every night, but they are cooked to order. The first night we arrived i had a chicken kebab it was not cooked inside, i stayed clear of the meat for the rest of the holiday. If you want to be involved with the pool games you need to be around the antigua pool as they dont come around the other pools, one couple there asked the manager why he said it was meant to come over the speakers but they were not working. The view from our apartment was lovely we could see right over the sea, well worth getting a sea view. As mentioned above the chip munks are freindly, sometimes more friendlier than the hotel staff.
