We loved this place.

My Husband and I and our two year old little girl spent two fantastic weeks at San Jorge.

All Inclusive was brill, free crisps, drinks, bottled water which we collected throughout the day for the apartment, so we didn't even need to buy water at all and as much food as you can possibly eat!

Plus we took our daughters bedtime bottle down to brekkie with us to fill with their milk and then put it in the fridge of our apartment ready for her bedtime!

After about Day 10 its nice to go out for something else to eat just to break up the two weeks holiday of all inclusive, we found a gorgeous Chinese Restaurant just down the road.

But I think its the same with everything if you do it for days on end you need a slight change one night.

The hotel block has a great park for the children and three swimming pools.

The pool is very cold BUT the sun soon warms you back up when you get out!!

The entertainment is great for young children, my daughter even had me up doing the Hokey Cokey, Aggadoo etc etc!

Overall we had a fantastic hols and it was worth every penny

Myself and a mate stayed at the Castillo San Jorge for only 3 nights but we were pretty impressed by the hotel and by the local area.
One bad thing about the resort was that it had a pretty poor nightlife for single people and was more suited to young families and couples.

Hotel is quiet and clean, and the pool areas are pretty good.
Rooms were ok but you get what you pay for i suppose.

Local supermarket(s) were very expensive we thought and the Euro price does not help that very much.

Hotel is first class in a good location, clean, with friendly staff and good food.The only problem i found is the airport transfer. The hotel is about 10 mins from the airport but on arriving at 10 to 8 at night i was still waiting for the Thomas Cook coach to leave at 9.00 When it did leave we had 11 drop offs before i arrived at the San Jorge just before 10. I am told a taxi is the best option if you can avoid the tour ops charges.

My husband and I stayed here in March. We were in the self-catering apartments. Although the complex itself is ok the apartment was the worst i have stayed in for a long time. One lumpy sofa. and a tv not seen since the 80's. The apartment was dreary and dated, in dire need of a coat of paint. if nothing else. The bathroom was awful. The water from the shower took about an hour to drain away.
The area round the pool was ok but busy enough for March, dread to think what it would be like it August!
