I would recommend these apartments to any young couples. We didn't spent much time there as we were seeing the sights so it was a good price considering this.
We arrived at 12pm but check-in wasn't until 2pm however our room was ready so they gladly let us in. Room smelt like cleaning products when we entered and was very clean throughout.
I saw on another review that the safe was 40 euros however this is not the case. It was 20 euros plus 5 euro deposit which we got back at the end. The safe was bolted into the wardrobe so I wasn't worried about it being stolen.
We brought our own travel kettle with us however it was 8 euros to hire.
The room was cleaned most days and to a very good standard. We had no problems with the cleaners apart from the last day when the door was not locked after being cleaned. This only happened once and luckily we were by the pool so noticed pretty quickly.
The kitchen had 2 hobs and a microwave which we didn't use. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery. Two saucepans and a frying pan were also available. We only really used the kitchen to make baguettes and drinks so it was more than adequate.
We had a slight ant problem in the kitchen/living area however once we reported it they came and sorted it the next day.
The beds were okay, fairly old. One of them was very squeaky but you got used to it. There were two single beds but I don't see this as a problem as you can push them together easily. Good mirror in the bedroom and bathroom.
Bathroom was big with a nice shower. We did find a cockroach in there one night and I think it came in from a vent/grate on the ceiling. After this we left the light on to discourage them from coming in. We also had 2 lights pointing towards each other on the mirror however I don't really see what the safety issue is with this?
The living area was big with 2 sofas and a big coffee table. We loved sitting here with the apartment doors open. It was nice and warm but not too hot so we didn't need to hire a fan. There wasn't a TV however personally I don't come on holiday to watch TV so this wasn't a problem. We had a couple of lamps too and one also had a wonky shade on it but again I don't see the problem here.
The pool area is lovely, plenty of sunbeds and not too many people putting their towels down as ownership of them. Only 3 umbrellas available though and little other shade. The pool was a bit cold but not really noticeable as we swam a lot and chucked a ball about. It isn't too deep either. Plus there is a tiny pool for kids that is much warmer.
The pool bar was nice however they didn't stick to the entertainment program put under our door. There is normally a BBQ on a Monday night too which didn't happen because the regulars were having a party there on Sunday night which annoyed me because it didn't show any loyalty to their staying-paying guests.
The bar was very loud in the evenings and where our room was we had the noise from another bar so it was like they were competing to be loudest. It wasn't a problem though, more comical than anything else. We weren't going to bed early so it didn't matter.
We bought a disposable BBQ for 4 euros from the superdino on the Thursday night and had our own BBQ on the terrace which was lovely. The terrace was shared with the 2 other apartments opposite.
Overall it was a fantastic stay in the apartments. It is in a great location, a really short walk to the shops, beach and many restaurants. The staff were friendly and the room was nice. For the price you pay I don't think it is fair to expect modern perfect facilities, and nit-pick at little problems, if you want 5 star then pay more money elsewhere. I would happily go back here.
