“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Stayed here for four nights in June, a big three bedroom appartment, which was great for six people.we entertained six extra guests for dinner and there was plenty of space for us all. There was everything you would need in the kitchen, beds were comfortable, close to shopping centres and casino. Childrens park and beach just a short stroll away. Will stay again one day.

Stayed in a 2 Bedroom superior apartment with 3 adults and 1child. The room one the 25th floor was huge with everything you could possible need. Full laundry, kitchen,2bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Used the gym in the morning and was sufficient for a holiday workout. Pool area was great but quite cold. Situated only 1 block from the beach and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Great location away from the hussle and bustle of Surfers. There were no other high risers in front of us so the view of the beach and mountains was great.

This hotel was the only 3 bedroom hotel available over Easter on the Coast that was not extortionate - so we snapped it up. Booking through the hotel website was easy - and the same price as going through a third party website - which is always preferable.

The 3 bedroom apartment was on the 6th floor and had a massive master and 2 ample sized other bedrooms each with 2 x single beds. There was heaps of storage and the living space was quite good.

The negatives were (as mentioned in previous reviews) the threadbare towels (and the fact you only get 1 per bed - no matter how long you stay). Our kitchen (while decked out with Miele appliances) was less than well equipped. They had plenty of glassware and plates but the cookware was abysmal and the serving ware was non existent. Given most people staying in apartment style accommodation will be cooking (at least on 1 night) - it seems reasonable to expect at least 1 serving platter, some serving bowls and some half reasonable cooking equipment. Kmart has better stuff than what was in our unit.

Aside from those irritating points - it was a pleasant stay and we thought it was reasonable value. While we stayed as a group of friends I think it would be ideal for families - walking distance to Pac Fair and also to the restaurants and the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room higher up. The sixth floor only had partial ocean views (obstructed by roofs and tre...

This is the third time I have stayed here and it was again a pleasure to be back. This time my family and I stayed in a 3 bedroom sky home which was amazing. Huge living area, decent sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (3 toilets in total). Extra large balcony that had a large dining table enough to accommodate 8 people which we used a few times for BBQ dinners. Perfect beach views from the 27th floor!!

We arrived just as the cyclone hit and were told to keep all windows and doors shut but as these units are close to Pacific Fair we spent the rainy day shopping.

Unfortunately on this visit the beach wasn't the best because of the cyclone, but we were happy to use the pool and its facilities.

Staff were always happy to help and were very prompt. At one point our television malfunctioned and was replaced. Unfortunately it was a smaller screen as the same one wasn't available from the rental company however this was a minor inconvenience and the time turn around was within an hour or so, which is very efficient service.

Again, can't fault this place. Always clean, great staff and close to everything you need.

Would 100% stay here again (and especially in the sky home!!!)

Room Tip: If you have enough people.....go the Sky Home!! :)

I recently stayed here for four nights with three others on a golfing package. I shared a two bedroom apartment on the 15th floor with one other and have to say the the layout of the apartment was great. The centre of the apartment was the lounge/ kitchen area and there was a huge bedroom on either side, each one complete with its own bathroom facilities. Great privacy. The bedrooms and lounge area were spotlessly clean and all looked out over the ocean-fantastic views. The balcony was really large. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the kitchen was well equipped. Bed was very comfortable.
Staff at the front counter were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It was an easy three block walk into the main Broadbeach shopping area which was filled with a great range of restaurants, shops etc. and the casino was also an easy walk/taxi ride away.
The best features of this accomodation were the stunning views and the quiet location. Close enough to the action but far enough away to ensure a good night's sleep.
I highly recommend these apartments but my views are based on the unit I stayed in and as these are individually owned the fitout varies from unit to unit. For example the neighbouring unit where our other members stayed had no curtains in the main lounge area so in summer I imagine the morning sun would be very bright.
All in all, great apartments and I intend to return next year with my wife.

Room Tip: The higher the better view

We were a bit dissapointed with the apartment, I thought with the size of the apartment (3 bedroom)it would have more cooking equipment,as it should caterfor 6-7 people. Had to go to supermarket to buy utensils: eg tea towels, ladle etc. Also when the apartment was cleaned, we were told it would be vacuumed,& sheets changed but when we came back to our room we found it had not been vaccumed as there were still cotton threads on the carpet.Would not stay there again, as I am sure we will find better at that price

Just returned from a stay at the Beachhouse ground floor apartment, no complaints what so ever! The room was amazing, beautifully furnished, really private, just perfect for our young family, the massive courtyard provided plenty of space for the kids to of run around. The pool area was fantastic. Great location, so close to parks, shops and the beach. The staff where very friendly and went out of their way to assist us, especially with booking theme park tickets etc. A great experience over all, thank you Ultra!
