“Fantastic Location & Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Wanted to take my elderly mum to the coast for a break, and booked this room for it's location. We were very impressed with the service and facilities. The room was small, but servicable. My only complaint if I had to make one, was the bathroom could have used some extra attention. the grout was a little mouldy around the shower. Our balcony furniture had seen better days, but we didn't use it so it didn't bother us. best plus - probably THE best sleep I've had in a long time. Super comfy beds, no outside noise, easy to use air con. Would definitely stay there again.

I was worried about our booking after reading many of the reviews but we had a good experience. We booked it a few days before our visit and got a last-minute rate of $120 a night for a 2 night stay. As the hotel was nearly full we were advised that there was only a disabled-modified room left and that it wasn't as good as there was no bath/spa. We stayed in room 400. As it turns out, the room was bigger than the other studios and the bathroom was enormous. At one point room 401 next door (also a studio room) was being cleaned between guests so we had a quick look and it was a lot smaller.

Room 400 was at the end of the building. It did not have ocean views but was well appointed with a kitchenette, king bed (2 king singles pushed together), and a single and 2- seater couch. There was a washing machine in a little alcove outside the front door, which was shared between 400 & 401. This was a good arrangement as it meant the noisy machine was not running in our living space.

Breakfast was included. It wasn't super high quality but there were plenty of options including fresh fruit and pancakes.

If you like to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine looking at the view, don't get this room as their is no view and quite a lot of traffic noise but if you're out and about during the day and aren't too fussy about the ambience, this is a good option. They had clearly made an effort to tidy up the grounds and were painting sections of the lobby while we were here. Both of us thought it was a decent place to stay and we will come here again.

We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment. A fabulous view from the 10th floor looking north with Jupiters across the canal. Room was very clean, large bathroom and perfectly suitable for us. The fact it was only $75 per night was also a bonus. $89 on special plus my Hotel Club credit. Staff very efficient and friendly. When I advised them the range hood needed attention, a maintenance man was there within 30 minutes. Easy walking distance to the Casino and Pacific Fair.
Two towels were adequate for us, but on reading the brochure it costs $4.50 for another set of towels wihich does sound a big mingey, especially if staying for a week. Also with a toilet roll costing $1.20 it would be nice if a full roll had been provided. Also beware the toaster. On the morning we left the neighbouring unit's toaster actived our fire alarm!!!
However, would definitely return and would recommend to others.

I didn't do my homework properly though, forgot that the Super car race started the day we left and of course the traffic was worse than usual. Took 2 hours to get to the Spit with police directing traffic via Chevron Island. We did score with petrol at Labrador $1.44 compared to $1.57 elsewhere.

We stayed at the Savannah Resort a couple of weeks ago and had a very nice time. We got a pretty good price for accommodation including breakfast so stayed for two days. Checking in was easy and staff were friendly The room (studio) was average size but comfortable and functional. Spa and pool were nice but you would have to be less than 5 feet tall to enjoy the spa bath in the room. It is only a short walk to the beach, Jupiters, Broadbeach Shops and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Breakfast was average stuff. Big minus is the carpark. Way too small for the number of rooms they have and, like us, I think a lot of people have to park on the street.

My family and I stayed in a family studio for one night and it cost $220 for four adults. The rooms were nice, great views and the facilities were more than adequate. A free breakfast was also provided which was nice. Would definitely stay here again

2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We got a grea deal for two nights in a one bedroom unit. We got what we paid for. The rooms although furnished decently are in need of some good TLC. They look fine but upon further inspection really need some work. There were stains on the walls, the carpet was stained, the furniture chipped. The queen bed was an uncomfortable two singles joined together. The bathrooms were extremely old and tiring and had a dirty feel to them. 2 both towels provided but no bath mat? The overall cleanliness of the rooms left little to be desired for and the room had a constant musky smell to it. The staff were friendly though and you cannot fault the location with walking distance to the main hub of broadbeach and the beach itself. Personally I would not stay here again and would rather spend a few more dollars to get something that you enjoy going back to at the end of the day.

Stayed in room 912.It was a 1 bedroom apartment that had been recently renovated it was terrific and could not fault it. Tiled floors, very nice leather couches in the lounge and beautifully tiled bathroom.unit was on a corner of the building with good views.Breakfast was included which was good enough for us.Car parking could be an issue though as there are less basement parks than there are apartments. We had to park on the street one night and this could be an issue during the peak summer periods, luckily we found a park right outside.
Could not fault the place
