This waterpark just outside of Bodrum is a great day out. Travelling from Bodrum you'll need to take a bus, which confusingly for us wasn't the one with the waterpark logo plastered all over it. Most people in the main bus station are very helpful anyway. The bus costs a few lira and the journey takes 20 minutes or so. When you get to the waterpark entrance prices are very reasonable and you can pay in cash or cards. For two adults the total cost was around £30. The park issue you with a smartcard to load up with money to pay for drinks and food inside the park. The money is fully refundable if you don't spend it all, so no worries there, though it might have made more sense to put the smart chip on a wristband. There are also free lockers, just collect a key from the desk inside the main entrance.
Inside the park are a series of pools, the wave pool is good for kids but you might be disappointed as an adult. The lazy river we thought would be the type you ride on a "doughnut" style inflatable but it was just a circular section of another pool. These were the only two disappointing park features. There are lots of fun tube rides though of which our favourites were the Black Hole, Twister Tubes and the various Kamikaze flumes. Waiting time was mostly at a minimum for any ride, maybe five minutes for most. The longest wait was for the Big Slide on which you are launched down a U shaped ramp - this was about 30 minutes. When you don't want to ride, there are many, many sunbeds.
Food and drink costs in the park are relatively high but this is to be expected. You can always just take your own if you don't want to buy in the park. Getting out was a problem however. The park closed at 1730 but the shuttle bus provided by the park didn't start till 1800. Many dolmus went by very full and didn't stop and in the end we took a taxi which was very expensive but obviously much quicker back to town.
In all a fun half day was spent, we certainly didn't need more than that!
