This centre contains lots of interesting information about the man himself and mountain climbing history in general. It was fascinating to learn about the history of mountaineering and the evolutions in equipment and technologies employed. It was more focused on what he did in the Mount Cook area and there wasn't so much about Mt Everest, but it was great nevertheless. Good views of Mt Cook from the lobby, and a nice statues of Sir Edmund. Store contained lots of professional but overpriced outdoor gear!
