Highly efficient and polite service. This restaurant offers an evening "menu del dia" till 9.00 and a la carte from then onwards. We opted for the evening "menu del dia" which at the time of writing was priced at 12.50 euros per head. Everything we ate was home made. The 3 course menu we tucked into included a fabulous leek soup, a superb steak and ale pie and to crown it all; some of us had fresh strawberries and cream or apple pie and ice cream. Got to eat it to believe it!! We ate early and not many customers in at this time; which took the atmosphere off a little bit. (But, weather was lousy; so what can you say!!) Dare say that most frequented after 9.00 when ambience would have "picked up".
Nice owners and staff and we will definately be visiting there again and will pursue the a la carte menu that looked delicious. Highly recommended.
