“Confortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We stayed at White Fir Valley in January 2012. Our apartment was beautifully clean and bright equipped, large TV and multiroom sound system was particularly impressive. We had a large bedroom, a large living room with an equipped kitchineta.
Towels were Changed as were the complimentary toiletries daily.
The pool and spa area was clean, quiet and very comfortable, The sauna and steam rooms were nice Particularly after a long day of skiing.
The hotel is in Razlog, about 6-8 km from Bansko, but you get the gondola car in 10 minutes.
I did not eat in the hotel, I do not know the menu.
But comfort and service are ok.

Excellent facilities, tremendous staff dealing with various nationalities and able to converse and solve any problems efficiently, fire in reception could be a little better, spa facilities good, staff extremely attentive, bar staff courteous and polite, golf complex a ten minute walk away, nice shops and restaurants worth a visit

At first, we travelled in group of 4 people - two couples. We booked 1 bed-room appartment (for us) and a standard double room (for friends), and asked to be settled on the same floor in Orchid building (and were assured we will). When we arrived it turned our that we live in completely separate buildings (we lived in Camelia while friends were settled in Orchid). There was no difference in appartments though we payed 90 euros more, but probably it our friends who was lucky to receive good room since no single room was free.
There was no welcome package.
It was very cold in appartment, they turned on heat in our room right before pur visit and it took 2 days for temperature to become close to acceptable. Anyway, when it became windy outdoors, there was draught coming from the windows and shutter rocked on this wind.
There was no single glass, was no wasjing machine as it was declared, ipod station never worked (with bunch of different apple staff of different versions) and you know what receptionist replied to our complaint? He told "umm, you know I tried my either and it didn't work.." Great, I'm happy for you. There was no hangers and safe was closed. Three times we asked to bring this stuff to our room, and only when we seemed irritated enough asking for this for 4th time, they brought hangers and openned safe and advised to go to dining room to get some glassed and cups. Superb service.
There were only two towels in bathroom (one per person) and they brought 1 more only at the last stay (despite we asked few times to bring towel at least for hands). 5 euro for bathrobe.
On the third day they stopped cleaning the room, and receptionist made very surprising voice when we asked why room had not been cleaned for two days (yeah, we're patient and waited two days before complaining).
Internet connection was wonky and didn't work in the lobby or on reception or in swimming pool at all. Swimming pool is very dirty, especially deck chair.
Tableclothes in dining room (out of dining hours it's their restaraunt) and in wine hall were full of stains of different origins.
It located badly, far away from Bansko. They had free shuttle buses but it was very limited amount of them and schedule was very inconvenient (esp. for evening buses). Once, we were late to last shuttle bus and called reception to have driver to pick up us for money. It took 1 hours for him to get to us and when he drived back, he also decided to carry out couple of personal things, including picking up a friend at the razlog (completely different place).
Breakfasts were not good - many of food but quality was doubtful (except feta cheese), same food every day and cold every day at anytime of brekfast.
The only positive thing - the room was big and new. However there was big dent in bathroom door. TV was small, 21'', it was just ridiciluous so we just laughed.
I never get back to this hotel and don't suggest it to anyone!

Room Tip: choose main building if you want to lounge in lobby or spa. ask to not be settled on the first floor...

Hotel was very good.

Rooms are hot and clean. Food on breakfast was excellent. Spa is great also! Just bring a towels with you. They didn't have many towels. The nature is wonderful. It is a bit far from the city- Bansko, but you have a shuttle bus that brings you there.

I really recommend this hotel.

The title just about sums it all. The splendid rooms cannot make up for the terrible service.
I am sure of it. I've tried it twice.
The first time (2010) I was so impressed by the beautiful 3 bedroom apartment I was in, that despite the bad service experience I decided to try it once more in 2012.
Well, the service was worse.. What exacly abt the service u might ask - it's all of it: the attitude of the staff, the lack of skills, the cleaning, the dirty spa (pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath - all dirty).. the bad and overpriced food in the restaurant. To add up, the double room was much much less impressive than the penthouse (just the nice view stayed).. and they had us move into a different building midstay, so instead of warning us they just stopped the heating.. after the room got ice cold and I called to complain.. thay said - oh yes, we've turned off the heating because we are closing this building and u need to move (that's Jan 6th .. not end of beginning of the season)..

Wouldn't recommend it. Only if u r a bunch of friends, wanna be together in a common flat and don't care abot the rest of the hotel - than u'd have a nice time if you go in the 3 bedroom penthouses.

Room Tip: 3 bedroom apartments are great. Wonderful living room with kitchen + great view and balconies.

I really enjoyed this hotel mainly due to its unique environment. It was awsome to wake up in the morning and face the white snowed valley and the trees at the hills. Pretty wonderful, very clean, extremely warm even though the external temperature was nearly -16 C (!!!). The pool and all other relevant services were very good and i cannot forget the fireplace in the lobby where we used to drink nice red wine. I have to mention though that the restaurant need to be upgraded when it comes to a hotel at this class.

We've stayed at White Fir Valley (already renamed MURITE CLUB HOTEL ) last weekend for 3 nights with my wife and my 2 year old son.. We were an All Inclusive package this time. It was our 3rd stay for the last 15 months and I can say there is always something to be improved. We've booked a 1-bedroom suite in Orchid house..It is the building next to the pool and is pretty nice.. The apartment was large and clean with another small bedroom with a twin bed besides the bedroom with queen bed. It did not use it anyway but it's good for families with bigger kids. The bathroom (with tube) was nice as well .. The internet connection and TV were good..
There is a kids place.. So far so good.. The hotel itself was pretty booked this weekend and there were many guests near the outside pool with just not enough sunbeds.. There just a few big umbrellas and 2 gazebos..So not enough at all... I asked the lifeguard but unfortunately he could not provide.. The inside pool was treated with strange chemicals so eye irritation for everybody.

Food was OK and enough the fist day, second day there was no ice and glasses during the dinner and the third evening all the food disappeared at 20:30(dinner was till 21:00) ..After a few complaints the kitchen staff started the bring out some dishes..
So my conclusion is the management and staff were not prepared for so many guests..
So there is always something at this place ...

Room Tip: apartments on south side have great mountain view
