“A taste of the past”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Honeywood Museum is situated in a lovely spot overlooking Carshalton Ponds. I have been to the Museum twice, before and after the recent renovation. Basically, it is a large Victorian House and has lots of interesting information about the previous inhabitants of the house including a video as well as lots of info on Carshaltons local history. Didn't try out the cafe, but it's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and interested in local history

“Nice little place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

This is a really interesting small museum in a really attractive place on the pond in Carshalton. It has a little cafe, and if you are lucky you can sit outside near the pond and watch the world go by.

“Disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

Looks so inviting and is....but the scones were served ice cold like they'd just come out the fridge.

“Lovely little piece of Carshalton History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

It's so great that places like Honeywood stay open and continue to have local community support. There's such a fantastic collection of local history here, it's free entry and has a cute little tea shop on the side. Plus it's a nice walk across the park to get there, and opposite the ponds. Lovely.

“A little treasure and a wonderful cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Situated by Carshalton Ponds, this is a delightful little museum which has a relaxed atmosphere and not only displays historic pieces but also has exhibitions from the local community and schools. The cafe has delightful staff and wonderful coffee, tea and cakes. It's lovely to be able to sit outside watching the water birds whilst enjoying a cream tea! We have been several times and will definitely visit again.
