“Simply we love it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Casa El Algarrobo is a lovely place with lovely, funny owners and animals.
Dorien and Wim are amazing, very friendly hosts, entertaining and at the same time giving privacy to their guests. We had such interesting conversations and great time.

The location is just perfect for trips to the coast or the mountains. The road to the house is gravel and steep so it is worth to rent a stronger, massive car. The place is really quiet, a typical spanish farm-house, completely renovated with simple, excellent taste. Our room was spacious, spotless clean and tasty furnished with large, comfy bed. The outside area is very nice with fruit- and olive-trees, the kitchen is well-equipped and the pool is great. There are playground and games for the children so I think it can be perfect place for family too.

The breakfast was delicious, varied and always fresh: home-made breads, jams and juices, fresh fruit-salad, cheese, ham etc. "The warm surprise" was amazing, something new every day: eg. home-made churros with thicky hot chocolate, omelet with black pudding, pancakes...
Wim made a dinner once and it was delicious as well.

We loved the animals around, especially the donkeys (little Picasso was our favourite) and Lola, the adopted charming dog.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa El Algarrobo and hope to visit again in the future! Thanks Dorien and Wim:))

“the secret of Life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

If one asked me to describe a Bed & Breakfast, I would spontaneously call Casa El Algarrobo.

An oasis in beautiful Andalusia, in peace and harmony with nature.

Wim and Dorien are the perfect host / hostess, helpful, supportive and above all their passion and enthouiasme are contagious.
The B & B is a beautiful location with 5 beautiful rooms, the daily breakfast is a wonderfull experience and the "do you yourself bar" on the terrace makes it completly.
Ideal location to discover Granada, Malaga and Cordoba and come back home in the evening at El Algarrobo.

“Casa El Algarobbo is splendid!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

From the very start we sensed the warmth and hospitality that Wim and Dorien have to offer. They live to make your stay as pleasantly as possible. Wim tells you where to go and knows a lot about Malaguese tradition, Dorien treats your senses with home-made bread, jams, different kinds of juice, ice-cream, a breakfast surprise, ...
The rooms are big and very neat. There is also an outside kitchen so you can make your own meal. And when it is too hot you just jump in the pool.
So, if you are going to Spain/Malaga, you really have to stay here ... it's great! Thumbs up for Casa El Algarobbo!

“We went for quality time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2010

El Algarrobo is the place to stay surrounded by a marvelous landscape and stunning views. This family owned place knows better than everyone how to give you a -feel at home- atmosphere. Our daily homemade fresh breakfast with local ingredients was always a good start of the day. If needed we could rely on professional travel assistance from the owner. This resulted in great days with wonderful experiences. This place is the perfect hub to explore cities like Seville, Granada and Malaga. We really enjoyed our multi day stay.

“Brilliant stay with wonderful people!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2010

What a relief!
Just a wonderful B & B where you will be warmly received by 2 great people. For this B & B even superlatives are not enough!
This B & B is ideally located, close to the most beautiful places of Andalusia. An unknown peace between olive and orange trees.
The rooms are luxurious and beautifully decorated. The shower floor is finished in local river stones. Very nice, something I strongly remember.
I'm convinced and will return in January to Casa El Algarrobo! Olé!

They all have their traditional festivities. Our country guesthouse is located at the border of Comares, a Moorish hilltop village and the charming Riogordo. You can find us in the middle of peace and silence though only 40 minutes away from the airport of Malaga and the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean sea.We have a full equiped outside kitchen which you can use for free anytime you wantCasa El Algarrobo is the ideal setting to discover all the highlights of Andalucia.
