“Breakfast buffet. Eaton farm must try harder.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

Have been 3 times. First time was awful, but they had only just started to do breakfast so gave them another go in the hope of improvement - none found.
Very disappointed, the bacon and sausages were only just past raw. The toast is scarce and already cold and going chewy as it comes out of the kitchen.

Not good.

If you want a good breakfast, my advice is pay an extra 50p and go to the toby a priory island, where they know how to cook.

“excellent Carvery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

We have never had a meal here that was less than very good. The carvery is excellent value, the meats always beautifully cooked and tender and a good selection of nicely cooked vegetables. The melt in the middle chocolate pudding really is to die for!! Even on manic Sunday lunchtimes, the staff are always really pleasant and helpful.

“Try a breakfast !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

We went for a Sunday lunch a few weeks back and saw posters up for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. After dashing around we nipped in to give it a try and found it to be very good value. £3.49 for a buffet, all you can eat breakfast. One tea and a coffee on top took the bill to just over a tenner for the 2 of us. Excellent !

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Have been here on a few occasions. The carvery is amazing. The meat is plentiful and well cooked. The choice of vegetables is varied but there is always plenty to suit every taste. Also because it is a pub restaurant if you don't want the carvery there is a 'normal' menu with a great choice.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much to ask for.
All in all if you can't find something to suit your party, then you must be hard to please.
Overall a great place to eat.
