Lunch today, Pensioners portion - small fish, chips, mushy peas, tea, bread and butter. Just could not fault it. Been coming here three years now and never ever had a bad meal yet! Service is good, quality of food is superb. I think they need to expand this 'little restaurant' or move to a bigger local site (car parking at busy times is restrictive as the site shares a Tesco Express, Beauty Salon, Chinese Restaurant and Pizza takeaway)- always a large queue to eat in the restaurant at popular times. Should imagine they rarely have a quiet time and the takeaway side of the business is usually busy too. A tiny criticism is that they need to invest in milk jugs that actually pour the milk into the cup rather than 'dump' it everywhere and the tables for two are a bit on the tiny side considering how much space is taken up with condiments etc. Not much room when tea, cups and saucers, bread and butter arrives and then your meal. Nonetheless cannot fault anything else. Oh and for those of you who like lots on your plate - you won't be disappointed.
