“The perfect stopover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2008

We stopped over at this B&B on the way back home from a holiday in southern Germany. From the outside it is unassuming, but once you get inside (like so many places in France) it is wonderful. There is a very homely atmosphere and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a large family room which was ideal for us and offered excellent value. The owners recommended a superb restuarant about 5km drive from the guest house where we had a very well prepared meal. Afer a good night's sleep we came down to a great choice of breakfast in the family-style breakfast room.

We will definately look to stay here again if we make a similar journey.

We stayed in this B&B to break up a long drive down to Southern France. The village is small and quiet, overlooking the Moselle. The B&B is in a lovely old house. Although the building itself looks a simple shape from the outside, when you're inside you follow lots of old beamed staircases and corridors to your room, all filled with interesting antiques, books and pictures. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was good with fresh bakery bread, croissants etc, homemade james, hame and cheese, and plenty of juice / tea / coffee. You have your breakfast family style around a big table in the lovely dining room. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and can tell you lots about the history of the house and the area if you ask. Finally, just down the road there is a really good restaurant for an evening meal.
