Excellent service, excellent food, dishes cooked to order. Pierre and Theresa give a warm irish welcome, it's the best in the west. Mary.

The place to eat . Meet Theresa and Pierre , enjoy the best home cooking and traditional bacon and cabbage, spare ribs, pan fried trout, homemade apple tart and if you're lucky enjoy Jennifer's delicious baked Alaska and Theresa's rhubarb and meringue pie. Home from home atmosphere - Margaret

A warm welcome awaits you at Cawley's. Food was excellent, hospitality superb and the rooms warm and cosy. Teresa is a delight and I promise to return for the horse riding on the beach just maybe not the mountain biking!

Room Tip: I couldn't honestly advise but have enough faith in that if you ask for Teresa when making the b...

Arriving for an evening meal on the spur of the moment didn't disappoint. A stunning goat's cheese starter followed by a beautiful steak. Surprised to find it so quiet but it turns out Friday night brings everyone out in Tubbercurry so I imagine it was fit to burst then. A wonderful atmosphere nonetheless. Super food surprise.

This is a very special place, where the warmest of welcomes awaits you. I was working in the area, and spent nine nights in this very comfortable hotel. My room was a peaceful haven, warm and comfortable, and the most comfortable bed guaranteed a great night's sleep.

Nothing was too much trouble for owners Teresa and Pierre, and they have a genuine interest in all their guests. As outlined in another review, nothing is too much trouble for this special pair, and their staff.

Should I ever decide to 'run away' for some major TLC, this is the place that I will run to.

I have always thought that the success of a travel adventure is proportionate to the comfort and security of the place from which one sallies forth to explore and experience an area. The exploration of Ireland's Northwest will be the most successful if the choice for that home base is Cawley's. It is welcoming at all hours and times, with the best of food and the most pleasant of environments. the staff will make every effort necessary to make your stay and your travel adventure a success.

My sister and I stayed at this lovely hotel in November . Despite the chill outside , it was warm and cosy with a very welcoming staff and lovely owners who took the time to talk about the family history . Would recommend this hidden gem to anyone passing through Tubbercurry or as a central place to stay while touring the area.
