Right away, the staff did not have a record of the reservation of our very large party. Since we arrived late in the evening, this turned into a bit of an ordeal. Being flexible, we bunked up three couples to a two bedroom bungalow and let the rest of our party do the same. We struggled to sleep since we had only one rotating fan for three rooms. It was a sweat-fest.
The facilities were well kept, except for the pool area. The raised terrace for meals (in a baobab tree) was a very cool touch, and breakfast was tasty and satisfying.
If you don't mind the downsides mentioned above, Djidjak is a good value.
