This was a family trip, and we spent two nights in the Djidjack. The place has a very nice garden with lots of trees and birds, something I liked very much. The Djidjack is located next to the beach, and there is also a small swimmingpool. We had an canoe excursion organised, and horseriding for the kids. This was the good part; but there were some downsides as well: Although the food was good, there were not many choices. Then, I enjoy reading a book in the evening hours when the kids are in bed, something I found difficult because there is not light outside the huts, and the restaurant area (with a great collection of francophone comic books) closes between 11pm and midnight. This leaves you with nowhere to go except your hut, which is not ideal if you are travelling with kids. This was one of the reasons why we left after two days. For these two reasons (limited food choices, no light at nighttime), I rate this otherwise really great place only three stars.
