“Great Pub Grub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Recently returned to the Wahoo and was not disappointed. We'd missed lunch while running around and stopped in for a very late lunch mid-afternoon. It was busy for that time of day but not crowded like at dinner time. It's a dark cluttered bar with lots of neat stuff to look at & enjoy. You can check out their beer inventory as it is stacked everywhere! Lots of cold beers on tap and bottled and appears to be an ok selection of various wines as they even had a decent Moscato. It was too rainy to enjoy the outside patio on the Intercoastal but one of these days we'll get there when the sun is shining! Everyone had grouper sandwiches & they're fresh and tasty. I love the fried one and it's not greasy just light and crisp. Love that you can get a basket of tater tots, too. Some of our group had the A' hi tuna appetizer and liked it...especially the sauce served with it. Will definitely go back as prices are good, food is great and it's VERY casual.

“Great dining experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

This is a wonderful neighborhood gem. We live near by and can walk to the restaurant. The food is always fresh and some of the best in the area. It is not a fancy place but has a great vibe and wonderful food and service. We have eaten there many times as have family members who visit us here and everyone loves Wahoo's.

“Fun vibe, great shrimp.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I stopped for a drink and an appetizer based on a recommendation from someone at the front desk of our hotel. The fried shrimp was some of the best we have had, and the chili sauce was amazing. Love the casual atmosphere.

“Seafood Chowder Rocks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013

If you want 4 star service/atmosphere move on. However if you want an affordable excellent lunch/dinner/snack in a casual sense please try the seafood chowder. The restrooms are small and a well used. Service seems to try to fulfil needs however they don't hover over you, that I like when I need something just Holla and you'll get it. Enjoy!

“Nope...won't do it again!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013 via mobile

After reading the reviews and noting how everyone raved about the fresh seafood, we thought we would give it a try, knowing that the ambiance would be lacking. But there were far too many negatives to offset the reasonably good food. First, the place is rather a pit! The bathrooms were atrocious. I was going to give our waitress the benefit of the doubt, but she flunked out also after forgetting our chips with our sandwich, the order of "homemade" baked beans, and in general was not at all interested in providing us with good service. Thee are just so many other good places to go, why bother with this establishment? Sorry, but not a good place to visit!
