“Good beaches, cycle hire, no hills!”

I took the Ustica lines hydrofoil to Favignana. I wandered along from the port and found a cycle hire shop - the young lady spoke very good English! She gave me a useful road map of the island and I cycled off to Cala Rosso and some small beaches on the south side. Not very touristy (in October) - quite restrained. The small town has several cafes and restaurants.

“nice island”

This is a nice island with a nice port and a island centre. But one must advise visitors to be ready to pay quite a high price for the food.

“Lovely sea”

We took a mini cruise from the harbor to Favignana and another island. After 40 minutes, we arrived at the island, and went on shore. Then we were taken to a cove for bathing, where the sea was really clean and refreshing. We had lunch on board, and then went to the other island for the same. Lovely views and lovely sea - one of the highlights of our trip!

“Interesting island”

Well worth a day out from Trapani. Good restaurants and the best frozen yogurt shop anywhere! Not an enormous amount to see but the church is worth a visit.

“Paradise on earth.”

My husband and I visited Favignana last week. While there we did a guided tour on a nice boat. Some of the things around the island just cannot be admired from the land. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
