My boyfriend and myself stayed at the Royal Decameron for two weeks in December, I am 18 and he is 20. We did not have our luggage for 6 whole days, due to ferry travelling. We eventually got it tho. The water isn't bright blue.. it's more of a murky green color. The waves can get "big" sometimes, I was knocked over by one haha. The food is alright, I liked the salades and the pizza the best. You can reserve for a restaurant there, or just go buffet style. Both were ok. There is a "steak house" restaurant there, and during the day, it becomes like a snack shack, hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza etc. The disco wasn't that good... it was very very loud, and not alot of people were ever there. There's a dance floor when you first walk in and a little stage, and up the stairs is the bathrooms and the bar. The pools are cold but its really refreshing after suntanning! They don't have rye there, or coolers. Our favourite vendor there was Mel, he sells jewlery. There are mostly canadians there, maybe 10 americans, and 3 other countries, ex. germany. There are more older people then young, but there are a fair amount of young people as well. We wanted one big bed, but ended up with 2 beds haha. There isn't a remote for the tv but who cares. Lots of great people there, fun bartenders, everyone is very helpful. Overall we had a good trip! Lots of people we talked to there have been there over 5 times! I would rather go else where next time, just to see more places and do something different. It is very nice there. Hope you have a good trip.
