“Too good to be true?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

I chose this destination because of previous reviews so a big thanks to previous reviewers!

This place is fantastic on every level. Lets start with location. The streetside secure entrance is gated and the property itself a short walk from the beach. The beach is clean with lots of room. Staff will set up umbrellas and beach chairs for you.

A fair sized market is located along the avenue about 6 blocks from the Patrizia. Lots of local handicrafts available. A variety of eatieries and shops are located along the avenue. The streets are quiet at night except for the obligatory mexican dogs yipping on occassion. A perfect setting in my opinion with a good mixture of things to do during the day and evening but sleepy after midnight.

As for the Hacienda itself there is a secure parking area just off the avenue for your rental car if needed. Upon entering the Hacienda you're greeted by an open and inviting courtyard with a pool and bar area centering your holiday fun. Our family spent most of our time in this courtyard area and many wonderful memories were made here. Just off the pool area are two large couches under a covered area perfect for sitting outside, but out of the direct sun.

We were a large family group of sixteen with five youngs ones and two seniors. The design of the Patrizia accomodated our families needs in every way with a main floor room for the seniors and private rooms for each family groups.

Rooms were spacious and everything the owners promised. All equipment worked well and we had no complaints. A minor comment on pillows which were feather so anyone with allergies should be aware. A tip on the showers is to run your basin hot water first and your shower will heat up faster.

The real jewel at Hacienda Patirizia is the staff. I cannot begin to express our appreciation for the service we received. These folks should put on seminars on how to treat guests. Polo, the manager, seemed to know what we needed before we did. He set up fishing, quadding, hiking, shopping, diving, and our transportation needs. All with great efficiency and a smile on his face.

Polo also put together a memorable three years olds birthday party and went above and beyond. Our chef Eric and Bartender Herro were also first rate and we were all sad to say goodbye to them all.

Our financial dealings with the owners Roger and Pat were efficient, and they also were very helpful to us. In short the Hacienda Patrizia was the finest loding experience in my 35 years of travelling. I highly recommend them in every way. Very good value.

Thanks Polo and crew for creating a life time memory for our family. You guys are first class.

Room Tip: Turn the hot water on in the basin before the shower. Units on the avenue side can easily host two...

We booked HP for 7 nights in April 2012. Our group was rather large (14 adults / 10 children). Polo and the staff at HP were amazing, they went above & beyond for everything including making my daughter's 13th birthday a long lasting memory. The villa itself is amazing, add the close proximity to the beach and amazing staff and you have a recipe for an incredible experience. The food was and battening was also unparalleled - you will not be disappointed.

What an absolute gem of a place! Grab your friends and family and book yourself into a perfect holiday. If you are like me and can't get excited about staying in an oversized resort that seems to dominate the accommodation options in Mexico . Then Hacienda Patritzia is the place for you. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the accommodation and getting the details right. You will want for nothing as the staff are superb and they will really look after you. Hacienda Patrizia is designed for groups, family reuions and weddings etc. Imagine for a moment having a group of your nearest and dearest friends/family together enjoying gourmet meals and cocktails prepared by your own personal chef and bar tender? All this in the privacy of your own villa. It really dosen't get much better than this !

My sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at Hacienda Patrizia in January. It was the perfect place to stay. The villa looks brand new. The rooms were big and comfortable. Our chef, Eric, was fantastic. He brings a completely different definition to "mexican food." The staff was great. If you wanted a margarita or pina colada, they were happy to make it for you. Their pool was great!! If you want a perfect place to relax in Mexico, this hacienda is the place! The villa is in walking distance to the city mercado, and is only half a block from the beach. I highly recommend Hacienda Patrizia to anyone looking for a great, clean, comfortable place to stay in Bucerias.

Room Tip: If you're by yourself or with a girlfriend, any room is great. If you're with your family...

Accommodations were first rate and staff was excellent! Our cook, Eric, was a gourmet chef. Presentation and quality of food was suburb. All three staff members were great at accommodating the different age groups that we had along (teenagers, young adults, parents and grandparents). They were very charismatic and engaging but also attentive to our every need. Very clean and beautiful and accommodated a large family reunion group well. Completely secure as well. Awesome pool and good supply of beach chairs and umbrellas. Provided beach towels and washed and or dried daily. Location was just one block off the beach and easy walks to local shops, restaurants and bars.

Our stay at Hacienda Patrizia exceeded expectations. The facility was gorgeous and immaculately clean, the location was outstanding, Bucerias is a fun town with plenty to do yet away from the bustle of PV; but the highlight was the attentive, professional staff. The quality and variety of the food was unimpeachable and contributed to groaning waistlines but happy smiles.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an upper end Mexican experience!

We recently stayed at the Hacienda Patriza for a family reunion and had a wonderful time. The buildings and grounds were beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. The hacienda is located close to both a wonderful beach and a great shopping/restaurant district. Also the wonderful staff of Polo, Erik and Jairo made the reunion even more special. They got to know our family and created a fun and friendly atmosphere. They prepared fantastic meals, managed all of our grocery needs and provided expert local advice for all of the many opportunities in the area for; surfing, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and dining.

I highly recommend Hacienda Patrizia to any group looking for a great Mexican vacation.
