Close to the beautiful Tongariro River and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing we offer you a warm welcome to our home on the magic Volcanic Central Plateau of the North Island of New Zealand. (Aotearoa--the land of the Long White Cloud).The volcanoes of Tongariro National Park and World Heritage Park and the caldera, Lake Taupo , our largest lake ( the size of Singapore) are part of an amazing landscape with variety of colour,activity, foliage and wild life and bird life including the endangered blue duck the Whio, which is increasing in numbers on the rivers.We are always happy to answer your questions and tell you about places to visit that you may not hear about otherwise.As well as all the walks in the Nat Park we have mountain bikes and helmets you are welcome to use to explore the cycle trails and of course trout fishing is an added bonus!!
