“A great walking track summer or winter!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

I love the Wentworth Valley walk up to the Wentworth Falls. If you drive to the end of Wentworth Valley road (about 7kms) park your car and you will see the start of the walking track. The track is well defined and very easy to walk for people of all ages. Over the years it has been made even easier by the installation of wooden foot bridges over the river - once upon a time you had to wade across the river - the water was only ankle deep but you had to get your feet wet all the same! It takes about an hour to reach the waterfall. There is a viewing platform off the track where you can get some good photos. You can continue right up to the top of the falls and beyond if you want to be adventurous, however the track starts getting a little bit rough past the falls. Take a picnic with you (and water!) to have before heading back down the track. Its usually quite a busy track in the summer time and during school holidays with lots of families with small children. Have a splash in the river if you wish, however its a bit cold in the winter time. A fantastic family day activity.

“Bush walk excellente”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

this is a beautiful walk up to Wentworth Waterfalls. Allow an hour for a leisurely stroll up there. Beautiful bush clad path, well maintained track, good bridges crossing the river, lots of access to the river for swimming, a great cave for weta viewing (a torch a must for this), plenty of picnic spots along the way

“Easy access”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

You can drive to the campsite and park and take an easy walk through a well defined bush track, great swimming holes ( in summer ) usually others on the track as it is safe easy terrain. Great place to take a picnic lunch and have a peaceful walk. Only 10 minutes drive from town. All to easy
