“Very disappointing!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

The staff here were lovely, but the wait on food is absolutely rediculous! We had only order salt and pepper squid, which was way to salty & a tasting platter which dips and bread etc which was not nice. The cheese was hard, the pâté was awful & bread was burnt. To make things worse, I took an hour and a half for such average food!

“Poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

The staff were lovely, but the bar seemed to be short of staff. The staff were unable to cope with basics orders for meals. When we did get a meal the food was nice. The bar didn't seem to be open on many days of the week.

“Disappointed”

Poor handling of mistake with food order. Fish was very small and dry...the dog wouldn't even eat it.
Cider was amazing though.

“Simply Yummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

If you are visiting Whangamata it is worth stopping at The Lincoln. Relaxed friendly dining with a bit of a family feel.
The Lamb Shank was cooked perfectly on its bed of Mash and the Chocolate desert was to die for. Prices were the norm for what we received.
We will definitely be dining here again when we are next visiting.
