This place is absolutely awful. I booked using Travelocity and was shocked that they would even link to such a filthy place that rips off customers. I wish I had known to check this site first! As most of the other users here I booked this place because it had shuttle service and convenient to the airport for an early morning flight. I arrived to find that the shuttle was not running, my room was filthy and I was served the most DISGUSTING meal I have ever eaten-- no way to end a trip to Italy. Of course, the staff was more than happy to "help" me arrange for a taxi the next morning. It cost me 20 Euros to go about a mile! Moreover, there was a line of people waiting to go to the airport and the cabs/hotel people refused to let seperate parties share cabs. Completely outrageous. Think you can get breakfast if you're heading out early? Forget it. Also, if you do stay at this filthy place do not eat at their restaurant-- walk out to the main road and there's a pizza place and a snack bar. Finally, this place is horrible and the absolutely worst way to leave Italy.

Stayed at the Cancelli Rossi in June of 2004 the night before returning to the states. There is nothing good to say about this dump of a hotel (it really is what Americans would call a motel). The whole place is dreary & dirty. It looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The sheets are cheap, thin, gray, & it's doubtful that they were washed recently. It's not even that close to the airport & it's not easy to find! It's not located within the airport complex. We checked in at the hotel & their shuttle had stopped running, so we had to drive back to the airport to drop off our rental car, & then take a taxi back. I was afraid to stay in the room alone without my husband, that's how creepy this place is. They also tried to pull the same rip off scam on us as they did on the people from L.A.! I wish I'd known about Trip Advisor before I booked this room. I would never stay in this hotel again. We stayed at 3 other hotels while in Italy & this was the worst of the lot - all the others were superb!

This place is awful. We chose it because we had an early flight out of Rome, and thought it would make sense to stay near the airport. BUT - their shuttle doesn't run early enough to get you to the airport, so you have to pay for a cab, which they definitely have a kickback scheme going with - 15 euros for a 3 minute ride. The staff was remarkably rude, tried to add on costs to our bill, made us pay for breakfast even though it wasn't served early enough for us. Stay in Rome and take a taxi, or get up a little earlier. We wasted a night in Rome for this yucky place.

This hotel was close to the airport, which was probably the only good thing about it. It was hard to find and only good for an overnight stay before rushing to the airport.
