“Nice airport hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2011

I stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving from the UK, the hotel is within easy walking distance from T3 at Rome airport, there is a moving walkway which helps. The room was clean and comfortable, all the usual Hilton extras and the bathroom was clean and well maintained.
The restaurant was busy but a table was found very quickly and I settled down to an excellent meal. The bar staff were friendly and had time to chat to customers without leaving others waiting. Overall a good hotel, I would say it might even be a suitable base for travel into the city, although it is a good 30 minute drive.

We stayed here for two nights and it was great. The breakfast was awesome , great selection, everyone was very friendly. Room was clean and quiet. We were leaving at the far end of the airport and the bus driver drove us there. Free bus to Rome , lots of choices when to leave or return. Would definitely recommend it to anyone . You get what you pay for . Super

My wife and I spent a night in this hotel because we had an early flight and wanted the convenience of it's location. We requesed a quiet no smoking room so we could go to bed early and star a difficult travel day rested. Not here! They gave us a room on a floor designated no smoking but when we got off the elevator the hall reeked of smoke. Obviously no smoking in this hotel is only a suggestion which the customers do not pay attention to with no consequences. The room we were given smelled from smoke and overlooked a lit athletic field with a late night game and lots of noise. By 10:00 PM were still not able to sleep and called the front desk where we were put on hold for several minutes. When we told the receptionist of he noise outside the hotel she said she was not aware of the situation. They did offer to change our room and at 10:30 we were changing rooms instead of sleeping. As a result we started our day tired and angry. To top it off the next morning we considered breakfast in the hotel until they told us it was 48 euros for 2 breakfasts. Needless to say we were tired angry and hungry when we left for the airport. I would never stay in this hotel and would be reluctant to stay in any Hilton after their performance.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for posting your review and share your experience with us. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the smoke unpleasant odour. At Hilton we are very sensitive about this issue and we do have a very strict smoking policy. Unfortunately, it might happen that guests smoke also in non-smoking areas or rooms and you can rest assured that we pay the utmost care in trying to avoid similar situations or inconvenience to our guests. I also apologize for the noise which prevented you from having a good rest. Please feel free to contact me personally at the following email address andrea.carnevale@hilton.com should you wish to discuss those issues any further or for any future reservation requirements and I will make sure that you are welcome in the truly Hilton style!
Looking forward to welcoming you again in the near future.
Best regards.

This hotel has a friendly staff, a good location, and a "free" shuttle to / from an interesting area in Rome, near the Palatino Bridge and not far from Torre Argentina,

Public areas are pleasant. Our room had a king size bed with comfortable bedding.

BUT, Our no-smoking room reeked of smoke, the room had no ventilation (after using the shower, the bathroom was still steamy over an hour later), the climate control was very poor and the room could NOT be cooled or aired-out by opening any window.

The bathroom electrical outlet didn't work, The flight information TV channels didn't work (this is an airport hotel ! ), and breakfast trays in the hallways that were there when we checked in, were there when we checked out - about 19 hours later.

I'd say go elsewhere, but if you have a 7:00 A.M. flight, and need to check in at 6:15 or 6:20, you have little choice.

The hotel is only for one night and nothing more.It is closed to Rome airport and it is perfect if you travel early in the morning.Tha breakfast starts from 5:30 and there is a box that you can take out your breakfast. It is unbelived that there is no free internet acces ( 7 euros/half hour !). And no free tv program!

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your valued review. I have noted your comments regarding the internet charge. At present Hilton has a company agreement with an Internet provide and we cannot change it locally. Gold & Diamond HHonors members already enjoy free internet connection and we hope that, in the very near future, this will be extended to all our guests. Just for info, a free internet station is available for all guests to print boarding passes. Regarding your comment on free TV programs, there is a wide choice of TV channels in different languages which are free of charge. A fees is only required for PAY TV movies on demand.
Thank you for being our guest. We look forward to welcome you back very soon.

This hotel is simply an airport hotel offering convenience, but no soul. Too bad for Hilton, and too bad for Rome. Rome is too wonderful a place to have this hotel as an introduction.
It offers a great location, no shuttle bus required and no taxi, you can walk from the terminal. This is a fact that makes the hotel very convenient.
I did feel a little sorry for all the none Italian (mainly American) tourists who stay here and do not see more of Rome, for me it is not a good impression.
The hotel is adequate, it should be a lot more.

Room Tip: We stayed here three times in two weeks, and the last time we stayed in the Executive floor, which w...
